  1. My Girlfriend's Girlfriend - Type O Negative
  2. I think Lemmy sounds glorious in isolation! Well, his early stuff anyway. His signature Rick sounded like a chewed-up wasp to me.
  3. I've never seen anything like this before! Apologies for the murky shots, no good look at the headstock either. Anyone know what this strange, mutant proto-Buzzard might be?
  4. Are @Ashdown Engineering still on here? Any demos soon?
  5. I started a thread about this pedal last year and we still haven't seen any demos!
  6. I answered "distorted" but it's a bit of a cheat, I use an EBS Billy with an EQ pedal in the distortion loop to cut lows and boost highs for more of a guitar amp sound. The result is a basic bi-amp simulation but works very well for me.
  7. Knocking Nails Into My House - The Idle Race
  8. They're always in the loft aren't they 😄
  9. Ooh, I do like these! Loveliest Jazz I've ever played.
  10. I'm in two minds about this - this is the third Starfire I've owned as I regretted selling the others, but I think I need to accept the short scale and skinny neck aren't really working for me! It's a shame as the sound is wonderful. Tonally, add a bit of drive and it's instant Jack Casady/Jefferson Airplane. It can really roar. It's been recently set up with TI flats. The bass is in superb condition, just some very, very minor light marks to the top edge of the headstock and the bottom edge of the body. Hardly noticeable. Original Guild hardcase included. Collection from Dartford preferred, could possibly meet up too if not too far.
  11. Geezer really didn't want to do that bass solo 😄 It is great though, greasy as hell. It's a shame the rest of the song is a Custard Pie ripoff.
  12. There's a brief clip on the Last Supper DVD of Geezer soundchecking this song, his Vigier tone is incredible.
  13. Sabotage is my favourite Sabbath album, in fact it's possibly my favourite album ever, but I think Geezer's best work is on the earlier one-take albums with little in the way of overdubs or extravagant production. I'll probably go for Master Of Reality as Geezer's finest hour, the whole album is one long bass solo.
  14. Suite In C Including Turnham Green - McDonald and Giles
  15. Is that "no box" or "I might be able to find the box"? 😁
