  1. Song Of A Baker - Small Faces
  2. They are for me. The Blueboy era necks felt massive to me. The past few years have been much better, still substantial but much nicer to play. Mind you, RIC necks are hardly the most consistent of things, considering they used to be famous for being extremely slim!
  3. Take comfort in the knowledge that your ruby will have a much more comfortable neck than the Blueboy.
  4. Back Door Man - Howlin' Wolf
  5. Lee bought a set of lovely DR strings from me and in doing so awarded me with my fastest ever sale! Top chap to deal with.
  6. Hard To Handel - The Black Crowes
  7. Over And Over - Space Opera
  8. Drowning - John Entwistle
  9. It would have been nice to hear what the bass sounds like without all the effects. I know that's Troy's thing (although I don't remember him being into the flange/phase thing quite so much) but most of us want to hear the bass rather than the pedals, which seem to dominant here.
  10. I Can See For Miles - The Who
  11. Exactly. Ridiculous demo.
  12. Call for the Priest - Judas Priest
  13. Dirty Boy - Cardiacs
  14. Perhaps he broke it himself in a rage. You know what these bass players are like.
  15. One of the early Darkglass models, handmade in Finland. Excellent condition apart from a surface crack on one of the knobs - still functions as it should. Comes with original box free velcro attached. £120 posted.

  18. A bassist of your knowledge and experience should know better than to call a bass a one trick pony.

  20. Over The Top - Motorhead 😄
  21. It's All Too Much - Beetles
  22. Jimi at Planet Guitar in Orpington. I've known him for years and wouldn't use anyone else. It helps that he's probably the nicest chap you're ever likely to meet. https://www.planetguitar.org.uk/
