    Hi all, I inherited this Framus from an old friend and mentor who recently died. RIP It’s full of history and has done some important albums within my Caribbean cultural background. It was probably neglected due to him not being able to play in his latter years and seems to be attacked by moisture among other things. Obvious problems include: *fingerboard has become unstuck from the neck/body *body wood split/broken (seems like plywood layers) *metal parts corroded (not too fussed about that but I would like to improve if possible) *Missing the body support (I’ll contact Warwick about this) My hope is to restore it to look and play as close as possible to its former glory. I would appreciate and advice help on this including recommendations for people that could do a great job! 🤞🏾 Many thanks guys.

    Yeah……bemused. I’m not too fussed as I don’t want someone to buy it and not use for GAS sake. Hopefully it would go to the right person and be used at it should🤞🏾 I just need to make space and recover a bit in the process.

    [NOW SOLD] Lovely 2010 Bryant handmade British double bass. This is one of his top models and thus more costly than his other models. Serial number 91. John Lott flat back model 3/4 size Scale length 41.25”/105cm Back wood English Sycamore. Front wood is medium grained Alpine spruce. Neck is high grade Ebony (as are the nut and tailpiece). Beautiful tuning machines (Baker Model) and tail-pin complete this lovely instrument. It’s in great condition and has been well looked after/maintained/set up by the great Laurence Dixon. He put some lovey ebony ‘feet’ on the treble side to help prevent damaging the instrument when it’s laid on the side. The instrument is in Aylesbury, Bucks, UK. Feel free to ask for any further info.

    NOW SOLD! Here is my long standing wah! Been with me a while but does not show it as the was looked after and was in a pedalboard! Programable, versatile, bass friendly but can be used for any instrument! Boss build quality and sound! Collection in Aylesbury or post possible or can deliver en route to a gig if not a major detour.

    No answer….come on lads! My thoughts, it can’t hurt try. May be a bit funny with active as it’s going from ‘preamp to preamp’ then to whatever.. However most times I use my East UK ‘Stomp’ outboard floor pedal preamp with my active basses to have either a different tone, gain boost or mid boost and I had it converted to have a D.I. balanced out. No problems at all just pure joy. I also use it with my double bass (passive of course with piezo pickups) and that works beautifully as well. So in a nutshell, I think the K&K is a good idea!     (NOW SOLD THANKS) This is in very good condition with no rips/holes/tears etc…and all zippers working perfectly. My bass was a smallish 3/4 and it fits with a bit of movement so will fit standard but not bigger 3/4 basses. There is no ‘branding’ to be seen but I think it’s a Stentor case. Price is collected from Aylesbury (or I’m willing drop off if on way to a gig). But willing to post at buyers’ cost.

    *SOLD* Göldo "Deluxe" 3D bass bridge 5-string. Bought secondhand but didn’t use and in mint condition. Screws and Allen key included. Colour: Black Solid all-metal construction with lockable tabs, 16.5mm string spacing +/- 1mm adjustable. Dimensions: W x L x H approx. 92 x 59 x 12 mm, incl. 5 fastening screws and Allen key-Key.

    *Now Sold* As the title says. It’s a 4 channel 1/4 input to 1/4 output, can be battery powered or a power supply (9v )….may be in need of a little tlc. But working as far as I know. Cost includes to post to UK. ps: just seen one going for £100 plus😱
