    NOW SOLD!! Got this with a new instrument and just not used so in very good near mint condition. Very sleek, nicely made but quite tough, slim and protective. I use an older bag that I love and so this is spare. Cheapest I’ve seen including delivery is around £100. I’d be happy with £75 Fire away….🦻

    Ah…..great thanks👍🏽 The Wizards did a great job and are sadly not as well known I suppose…….but I wanted the look of the exposed poles (to match my other pickups) and the Nordstrand’s look and sound does a complete job! Someone needs to put the Wizards to good use!!!🤞🏽

    [NOW SOLD!!] Cheers guys👍🏾 Wizards 5 string set for sale. Bought on Basschat so putting back up here first. In good condition and sounds pretty good. I only changed as I got some Nordstrand’s (yes!!), but the Wizards have got it all going on and would be an upgrade to standard stuff. Size: They are very close but the bridge is slightly longer. 90-93mm (see pics). £45 UK posted

    Info update as I’ve been asked: *side dots are in the fretted position (that is: middle of ‘frets’). * As stated it’s a Tanglewood but the logo has been replaced and so can be removed or replaced if necessary. * The neck is in impeccable condition. No dings etc…. Plays super smooth, nice spacing and lovely maple.

    No probs. You’ll know what’s best for you. Saying that…… I have always preferred solid feeling (heavy in some guy’s opinion) basses as they seem to sound ‘tighter/crisper/snappier’ etc… in my experience. Even for Fretless. I guess one possible compromise is weight..,but I’ve compensated throughout the years by better (wider/thicker) straps and if the bass itself does not balance well (again in my opinion…approx 45 degree hang), I’m always prepared to move strap pins! Very subjective topic I know🙄 40 years plus playing has hardened my spine on many levels (🤣🤣) I’ve played and owned a wide variety (not all sadly) of ‘factory’ made to ‘custom’ made from vintage to modern basses…and my view hasn’t changed. Stubborn? Set in my ways?🤷🏽‍♂️

    No working scale at home at the moment (wife rule), but if I remember correctly it’s not a super lightweight…maybe between 8-9lbs. sorry to be vague…

    Thinning is necessary but so painful! 😖🤕 Hopefully someone has a need/space for this beauty! Tough to see it go after getting it to an unbelievable playing state…but my fretless needs are well covered (ACG plug alert)!😎
