I'm selling this as I've just not used it enough to justify keeping it. It is simply the best sounding DI box ever made for bass IMHO and is used by so many top sessions guys and studios. If you search for it on google you will get an idea of how highly rated it is. It has only been used a handful of times and is therefore in as new condition. It's the newer one with the through jack and is powered by a standard kettle lead. For anyone who is put off due to a 5 string neck, I've played plenty of 5's and this one is particularly good. Not super chunky or really flat. Anyone is welcome to come and try before you buy.

I recently got this from Kingbassists but I unfortunately have to let it go. I know that I don't get on with 5 strings that well but it looked such a stunner (and it is!) I could hardly let it pass. Due to my naivety, here it is. I also only really have space for one bass at uni and this would always play second fiddle to my 4 string of choice, it would feel silly to leave this beauty at home unplayed. It was later sent off to Chris McIntyre after he left the gallery for some work which included the neck being re-lacquered; at this time the name on the headstock was changed. Ash body Flame Maple neck Rosewood Fingerboard with Oval inlays Neck Binding Blue side position L.E.D.s Bartolini Soapbar pick-ups 3 Band Bartolini preamp Coil taps for both pick-ups Strap Locks Comfort Strap [u]Preamp Controls:[/u] Volume (with pull pot for the Led’s) Pickup balance Middle Bass/Treble (stacked) There are also two 3 position switches for Humbucker, Single Coil (series) and Single Coil (Parallel) [u]Modifications by Chris McIntyre[/u] Neck re-lacquered with AC lacquer and McIntyre name added New nut fitted. Yes the UL-212 is 4 ohms but I thought the UL-115 was 8 ohms. Meaning the 2x12 would be much louder when played together. Although it was fine with 5.3 ohm UL-310... Its a great stand alone option though if you are looking for more juice. Price is £550 as stated in the first post.

So as long as I use a small head (like me Eden) then it should be fine space wize. Might get a few complaints from the neighbours - probably have to get myself some decent headphones...

Need to downsize my rig so this has to go. Decided to keep the 3x10 as its slightly smaller, which will be useful for uni halls. Its a great piece of kit and does the light-weight one cab does it all approach very well - I was just being excessive with both cabs together! Sound is very full with plenty of mid punch. Can go from vintage sound to full on sparkle in your face from adjusting the tweeter on the rear of the cab. Condition is very good. I'd say almost as good as new apart from a few scuffs to the bottom protection corners from being placed on the ground. It comes with a custom Epifani padded cover too!
