1.
Damn I want this sooooooo much. Would you part ex for a Radial JDI Duplex?
Sorry man I already have other DI solutions. This is by far the best mind you...
  2. I'm selling this as I've just not used it enough to justify keeping it. It is simply the best sounding DI box ever made for bass IMHO and is used by so many top sessions guys and studios. If you search for it on google you will get an idea of how highly rated it is. It has only been used a handful of times and is therefore in as new condition. It's the newer one with the through jack and is powered by a standard kettle lead. 3. Looks like teal isn't the most desirable colour... For anyone who is put off due to a 5 string neck, I've played plenty of 5's and this one is particularly good. Not super chunky or really flat. Anyone is welcome to come and try before you buy.

I recently got this from Kingbassists but I unfortunately have to let it go. I know that I don't get on with 5 strings that well but it looked such a stunner (and it is!) I could hardly let it pass. Due to my naivety, here it is. I also only really have space for one bass at uni and this would always play second fiddle to my 4 string of choice, it would feel silly to leave this beauty at home unplayed. I feel kind of bad because Ian did me a deal so I'm going to let it go for exactly what I paid which was £850. This is a hell of a lot of bass for that money! Details: This bass was originally built at the Bass Gallery (Sei) for Paul Turner (Jamiroquai) by Chris McIntyre and the team. It was later sent off to Chris McIntyre after he left the gallery for some work which included the neck being re-lacquered; at this time the name on the headstock was changed. Ash body Flame Maple neck Rosewood Fingerboard with Oval inlays Neck Binding Blue side position L.E.D.s Bartolini Soapbar pick-ups 3 Band Bartolini preamp Coil taps for both pick-ups Strap Locks Comfort Strap Preamp Controls: Volume (with pull pot for the Led’s) Pickup balance Middle Bass/Treble (stacked) There are also two 3 position switches for Humbucker, Single Coil (series) and Single Coil (Parallel) Modifications by Chris McIntyre Neck re-lacquered with AC lacquer and McIntyre name added New nut fitted. Ebony/Aluminium New frets New ‘crushed ice’ scratch plate added New truss rod cover added Bolts and cups renewed at neck joint Overall condition is very good with just a few marks to the bottom of the bass. A Hiscox Liteflite case and comfort strap is also included. Cash on collection from Poole (south coast) or I can ship for £12 and payment can be made by cheque. Paypal is fine but the buyer had to cover costs. Bass + Postage + Paypal = £892 Thanks Tim

  16.
I am withdrawing this. Done 3 or 4 gigs with it and this is going nowhere ;-)
That sounds about right
  17. Bump - people are welcome to come and try before you buy...
  18.
Just bought a 1 x 15 off Old Horse Murphy and I am looking for a 2 x 10. Is this 2 x 12 4ohm or 8ohm? If the price was right I may be interested? Let me know Regards Steve

It's a 4 ohm Steve so would work perfectly with the UL115. Cheers Nick
Really? Yes the UL-212 is 4 ohms but I thought the UL-115 was 8 ohms. Meaning the 2x12 would be much louder when played together. Although it was fine with 5.3 ohm UL-310... Its a great stand alone option though if you are looking for more juice. Price is £550 as stated in the first post.
  19.
Just bought a new one of these, they're fantastic sounding cabs. Very full sounding but still bright. I'd love a pair of these, they'd sound fantastic with my UL902
Yeah that's how I hear them too. Two of them together would be awesome.
I’ve got the UL310…awesome cabs! So much tone and power for the size and weight. A little excessive for uni halls though I used a 300W Trace Combo in halls and was hit with so many noise complaints and fines, f*** it though, it’s a laugh I’ve heard the UL212 is equally as impressive. Great cabs from Epifani, and to think that 6 months ago I’d never heard of them. Worth a bump for sure.
Haha, yeah the way I see it though is that a biggish size combo would be equally as big and heavy as this cab. So as long as I use a small head (like me Eden) then it should be fine space wize. Might get a few complaints from the neighbours - probably have to get myself some decent headphones...
  20. Need to downsize my rig so this has to go. Decided to keep the 3x10 as its slightly smaller, which will be useful for uni halls. Its a great piece of kit and does the light-weight one cab does it all approach very well - I was just being excessive with both cabs together! Sound is very full with plenty of mid punch. Can go from vintage sound to full on sparkle in your face from adjusting the tweeter on the rear of the cab. Condition is very good. I'd say almost as good as new apart from a few scuffs to the bottom protection corners from being placed on the ground. It comes with a custom Epifani padded cover too! Specs: * Speakers 2 x 12" (+ 100 RMS tweeter - adjustable on rear of cab) * Freq Response: 40hz - 16khz * Power Rating: 700w RMS (2100w Peak) * 4 Ohms * Sensitivity: 103db SPL @ 1w 1m * Recessed Handles * Dimensions: 26 1/4" H x 23" W x 17 3/4" D * 59 lbs - v. easy one man lift * Ported on bottom left
