    Hi all, Just wanted to share my new (used) Dingwall Combustion that I got a couple of weeks ago from Bass Bros (great service btw). It’s my first 5 string bass (after decades refusing to get one!) and couldn’t be happier. Great to play, easier to get used to (multi-scale) that you’d think and hoping to rehearse or gig with it sometime soon. Let me know if any questions. e05e6bea-adca-4279-899e-4e4993d10c1c.mov

    I’m also looking at the JPTR Jive (https://jptrfx.com/products/jptr-fx-deluxe-jive-reel-saturator-overdrive) currently on sale for £104. Any thoughts? and have you ordered from them? Wonder if I have to pay any extra import duty/tax, etc… Thanks

    Still here… interesting. Still looking for my first 5 stringer. Tried one of this at the Yamaha London shop and liked it but also tried a Dingwall at the Bass Gallery and seems like the long scale makes a real difference to the Low B - however is 4 times the money. I have been looking at the spector dimension and Ibanez BTB805… lots to consider
