  1. For sale or possible trade Recently got this off the forum as a bit of a spur of the moment purchase. They don’t come up very often and I’d heard such great things about them. It really is a beast of a cab but for my now reduced gigging needs, this is a bit of an over indulgence. To be honest the modded 4x10 I purchased from Lozz is more than enough for my needs. The cab is in excellent condition and sounds immense. Possible Trades - All things Musicman: EB Musicman Stingray 4HH or Sterling 4HH in natural or honeyburst with rosewood board Late eighties/early nineties EB Musicman Stingray 4H, again Ideally natural or honeyburst (maple or rosewood board)
  2. That’s lovely 🤪
  3. After having lots of 4H Stingrays (both 2 and 3 band) I’m loving the versatility of my 4HH Sterling. Built as well as any of the MM basses I’ve had and it sounds great. The only downside is that I think I may now want to discover the joys of a HH Stingray 😁. The below from the MM website pretty much sums up the main differences between the ‘Ray and the Sterling. http://blog.music-man.com/instruments/stingray-bass-vs-sterling-bass-comparison/
  4. P.m.s replied to but all gone quiet again............. 🤔
  5. ‘Tis crazy cheap 🤪
  6. Sold a gig bag to Patrick. Great comms and prompt payment. Many thanks
  7. Phew! Superb cab and an absolute bargain price 👍
  8. Small Gator Gig Bag for sale, as new. Small pocket to the front and comes with padded shoulder strap. It came with a Genzler Magellan that I recently purchased but it really is too small for that particular head. Designed to fit items 11" x 10" (27.9cm x 25.4cm) such as: TC Electronic BH250 EA Micro and Doubler Mark Bass LMIII, LM800, Big Bang Eden WTX500/260 Aguilar TH500/350 Genz Benz STL6/9 Yours for £20 including postage to mainland UK
  9. Nice one, many thanks.
  10. Interesting stuff. As a newbie to HH basses (a recently acquired 4HH Stirling) would one of you knowledgeable types be able to advise on the pickup selector options for me? I copied the below for a Stingray HH from a thread on T***bass, but what about a Sterling? Is it exactly the same as the ‘ray?
  11. Heard about that, great story. Best of luck to you all 👍
  12. Sold a MB200 to Ian. Great comms and prompt payment. First class BassChatter 👍 Trade with confidence
  13. Up until a couple of years ago I played 4H Stingrays almost exclusively. Had lots, 2 and 3 band but then just fell for the simplicity of a Fender P. More recently I had a Sandberg PM4. Loved the sound and flexibility of the p and MM pickups but couldn’t get on with the pickup positioning. Fast forward to today. Popped into a localish music shop (just for nosey as you do) and saw that they had a used black and Rosewood Stirling 4HH for sale at a very reasonable price. Now, the Stirling model has never been on my radar as I’d gotten into my head that the neck was too thin/Jazz for me. However, I fell in love with it. It played great, felt instantly comfortable to play but more importantly the range of useable tones was a revelation. I snapped it up there and then and can’t wait to use it in anger. 😃
  14. Happy to start a feedback thread for Weeludo. Sold a lovely P bass to Lewis. Great communication throughout and very prompt payment. Have no fears here, trade with confidence 👍. Enjoy the bass and many thanks again.
  15. I really do think that more photographs would help your sale
  16. Superb cab, bargain price and a top seller. If I hadn’t been so busy buying cabs recently @karlfer I’d have been having this myself 🙄 GLWTS
  17. Yeah, they tried the same with me. Was sorted in the end but how they went about it was absolutely shocking.
  18. Not to mention that given my last experience of buying from Bass Direct, I’d sooner pull my fingernails out and sprinkle the open wounds with vinegar!
  19. No, it’s the P4 model that I’m after. Not keen on the new one.
  20. That’s lovely 😍. I recently parted company with my PM4 as I couldn’t get on with the pickup configuration/positioning. Loved the shape, quality etc though. Now if something more traditional like this came up for sale, I’d be all over it. I don’t care for the VS shape, but this is gorgeous.
  21. I noted on another thread that I’d used an Rb9 and Laney cab at a rehearsal room a couple of months back and it sounded great (even took a pic). Very punchy with far better than expected dispersion. Very impressed.
  22. This has really got to go now people. Another cab arrived today meaning that I am running out of room and more importantly, Mrs D is not happy. First £400 and it’s yours TRADES - Open to trade offers, but I’m ok for cabs
