Now sorted thanks to a £1.50 packet of kids wax crayons from the supermarket. Not a perfect match, but you need to double take to notice there's any sign of damage 😉

Hi all Just bought a US Musicman SUB in teal which plays and sounds great. However, my fingers have been slightly burnt as it was off flea bay and there is a chip on it that was not shown or described in the original ad. I wouldn't ordinarily purchase without viewing but this was many, many miles away and the only Teal SUB on offer. I certainly won't make that mistake again 😡 It's a long shot but does anybody know of a touch up paint or pen that comes reasonably close to this Teal colour? Many thanks

Well, had my first rehearsal with the new cab and head last night. Just went with the stingray straight into the head with the preset firmly in. Great punchy sound, cutting through nice and clear whilst maintaining a rich, fat tone. Glowing comments from the rest of the band. Love it !!!!!!!!

Hi all Before and after shots............ My original all Trace set up followed by my latest, an AH300-7 head with a Barefaced Super 12. All the gear shown (except for the Stingray) purchased from, and following the advice of the very fine persons of this site 😍.

Certainly will. By the by, is it just a happy coincidence that these BF cabs are exactly the same dimensions as the Trace heads???

Hi all Got the cab and it sounds amazing. Could only try it briefly at home (while the neighbours were out) but I'm chuffed to bits. My stingray and the Trace head sound just as I recall, a rich tone with some bite but now a whole lot clearer (and very loud). Extremely happy with both the head and the BF cab so thanks to all for the advice. 😊

Bought a superb BF Super 12 cab off Dean. Great item, great comms, top fella. Highly recommended. 😃

Picked up the head today and tried it through the MarkBass 1x15 I still have. 😜 it sounds awesome. My Stingray through the preshape and I was back in sonic heaven! Can't wait to try it with the Barefaced next week.

I used a Peavey TNT 115 for years before I went onto Trace gear. Cheap as chips and built really well! Just the job I'd say.
