Hiya Craig, not in need of any more basses at the moment, wouldn't mind the Pod as a P/X though. Text could be bigger too, can hardly read that
  2. Ah right cheers Doc.
  3. Not having had much experience modding basses, (I have modded guitar tuners in the past) why is a bass so much harder? Isn't it just a case of enlarging the holes to take the bigger bushings? Why does it need a router? Are they internally stepped or something?
  4. While I appreciate the animation of your avi Mr OSD could you not find another subject to use it on? That animal murdered quite a few of my family and I really hate seeing his face when I look at a thread and being reminded of it. Sorry, I don't mean to be nasty or anything.

Seen something I like so reduced to £350 delivered including a hardcase!!
  6. Should I have 2? love the colour, if my cort gb94 sells I may be back........ can't get enough of Fenders at the moment, I love them.
  7. Do you like soundslive Musicman20? Was thinking of having a run up from near Teesside to try out the Steve Harris. Is the shop worth the trip?
  8. I have the blue squier 51 reissue?? anyway it looks like st*ngs. Gigged it last night and it was great! Might as well sell all the good stuff. As a former small music shop owner I couldn't compete with the net so I didn't try or price match. The margins are very small as it is. It didn't make a lot of difference because people still bought from me most of the time. It's annoying when some guy comes in and tries out a guitar he fancies and then goes and gets it off the net. The problem with that is you are buying from a box shifter and it usually won't be setup. That's when they come in with their new guitar for a setup and the whole thing ends up costing a lot more than if they had bought it off me in the first place. I quite enjoyed taking the wind out of their sails when they come in and say "I can get that £35 cheaper at GAK, you are expensive" My reply was always wow! bargain! I'd buy that. Trouble is they want net prices and personal service, aint gonna happen.
  9. I was brought up to say please and thank you. As everyone says, it costs nothing. My reputation on here is very important to me and I've made some great friends. Feedback is important imo, it does make me feel better. I still, despite being caught out once or twice believe in human nature.
  10. Only my first one. I called it 'f*ck'n thing, it had a loose connection on the jack socket and it just stopped then started again. A bit like that comedian from t' wheel tappers program.
  11. Just bought a wiz pickup from Mr Clark, great deal, excellent comms, pickup arrived safely and is fitted and working perfectly. Thanks very much again. Deal with confidence! Tom.
  12. Andy from wiz just rang so sorted thanks.
  13. Hi, just a quick question, just bought a wizard thumper off here and I'm not sure if they are 'handed' if that's the right word? Is there a treble and a bass end or doesn't it matter? They look the same. Thanks.
  14. As title, 250 watt Hartke head, as new, for some reason I have 2 of these. I bought the second one thinking it was a 350 w but when it arrived it err wasn't, stupid mistake on my part. With 250 watts of available power, the HA2500 will drive your small to mid-sized bass rig with incredible clarity and punch. The HA2500 features the new Hartke silver face chassis and includes a selectable passive or active input, tube emulation and solid-state pre-amps, variable compression, a 10-band graphic EQ and high/low frequency contour control. Power: 250 Watts at 4 Ohms, 180 Watts at 8 Ohms Tube Emulation & Solid-State Preamps Active and Passive Inputs Rotary Bass & Treble Contour Controls 10-Band Graphic EQ Adjustable Compression. I use mine through an 8 ohm marshall cab and it's very loud in our church. In immaculate condition with box and bit's and pieces that come with them. They're about £270 on the net, I'd like £150 delivered next day.
