Not actually white but clear. 760T White Nylon Tape Wound, Standard 60-115 As the originators of the Black Nylon Tape Wound bass set, La Bella introduces the 760T set. Unlike the classic 760N set, the White Nylon Tape Wound 760T set is made with a transparent nylon wrapped over stainless steel underlays. The result is a brighter and even smoother finish, allowing players to effortlessly glide from note to note. The 760T set is extremely versatile and can be used for electric, fretless and acoustic basses. Available for purchase at your favorite online retailer, local store and La Bella dealer! LED side Fret Markers for dark stages .....??
EssentialTension replied to Mark_ii's topic in General Discussion
I'd rather just get some small self-adhesive glow in the dark stickers, or, even better, just learn my way round the neck properly (its not *that* hard). Unless you're playing a very unusual/futuristic bass LEDs just look silly, IMO.
I wouldn't have LEDs myself but I don't see how they're any sillier than having side dots at all. I played with a guitarist who had glow-in-the-dark Tippex on his side dots. -
La Bella 760 FS have black silk tuner end only.
Wait, is this one http://www.ebay.com/...Y-/221180920778?
I think that is a US made limited edition (40 or so only) with NOS humbuckers and is different to, as well as much more expensive than, the Thomann model above which is apparently called Newark Street Collection.. Thomann are showing these with a price but they also say: 'The item you selected is currently unavailable and the distributor is probably unable to deliver at short notice.' Is someone making these again or are they merely unavailable because they've been unavailable for years? Who are the most reliable large online bass dealers ??
EssentialTension replied to hamfist's topic in General Discussion
Never had any problems with GAK or Thomann. -
In my present band we all have a veto. Everyone must want (or at least agree) to play a song, whether it's a band original or a version of someone else's song, or we don't do it. Before the veto is operated a discussion about and rehearsals of the song must take place - these can sometimes be fairly brief. However, most decisions are straightforwardly unanimous.
