I've had a couple of sets of DR Black beauties, and I'm not 100% sold on the whole coated string thing. I'm just going to stick to normals, but will be trying a set of DR's on my new stingray. However did try some Thomastik flats on a 62 Jazz this weekend and they felt pretty nice...

Thanks for that Evil Undead. I might have to wait a few months then, but at least I know something is coming my way, as it sounds like a great bit of kit. Randy is a personal hero of mine. Glad to see he has a few fans on here -
