  1. Reverb, of course. Not sure why anyone would want to buy a used one, even an unused used one, for the same price as a new one, but..
  2. Thanks. Went a bit crazy the past few months and bought all four!
  3. No link...they're my basses.
  4. Sure, Harley Benton, but one of the special HBs.
  5. I bought a Dakota Red one, too..it's everything you could want from a Precision bass and it looks great!
  6. Sorry, can't watch that guy!
  7. Yes, translucent...you can see the grain. I've seen quite a few nice ones but several that looked pretty bad, indeed. Might be a good idea to check these out in person...this from someone who owns 12 basses, 9 purchased online. I'd like to meet the genius who thought this was a good idea just to ask him why they weren't painted Dakota Red instead.
  8. Some are already available on Reverb.
  9. You might want to try taps for shoes...these are rubber. Not very thick but you can glue 2 or 3 together.
  10. Zero-Mod makes several different thumb-rests. You can cut it smaller if you like, of course, and it is curved. Other than that, something like the Bass Buddy thumb-rest should be easy to make with a 3-D printer.
  11. One available here...several pre-orders, too. https://reverb.com/item/73205405-fender-vintera-ii-70s-competition-mustang-bass-rosewood-board-comp-orange
  12. That's not why they're getting blown out. Other than that, what's wrong with Indian Laurel?
  13. I have to agree...some interesting choices there.
  14. Good luck with your new P bass...true P bass tone and the necks feel so much nicer than the necks of their Vintera counterparts. Pretty much the same sale has been happening here all summer. No wonder Squier's selling more basses than they ever have before, probably moving more P and J basses than similar Fender MIMs. I wanted a Fender Vintera bass, but not for the USA-made prices Fender was asking for them. Good thing I wasn't in a rush because I bought both of these on sale last month for less than the price of 𝘰𝘯𝘦 Vintera.
  15. I'm betting 8.5 lbs or less
  16. Reverend makes some of the best basses out there. Recently bought a Thundergun after having to sell mine a few years ago. Really like the Decision with that finish Dare to be different!
  17. The anodized The anodized gold pickguard makes it special.

    NBD OBass

Much better choice than the Junior Jet.
  19. Best-looking bass it the store the day I tried it out. Played it for a good fifteen minutes. I have to say the tone was everything you'd want from a P bass..but it just didn't work for me. Wasn't actually a comfort issue, wasn't simply the neck...it was something I couldn't quite put my finger on. Funny thing is, I bought the Squier 40th-Anniversary Vintage P bass just last week...picked it up and knew without even plugging it in that I wasn't leaving the store without it. (Sorry, not a fan of the Player series basses...and I've tried quite a few.)
  20. No maple here but still looks special with black hardware. Sold it way back when and I've regretted it ever since.
  21. How disappointing! Only a few basses with that issue, but... https://www.talkbass.com/threads/mike-kerr-signature-bass-problems-fender-did-it-again.1618996/
  22. As someone once said, "Very interesting!" As someone else said, "Limited to how many they can sell."
