1. hello! I go to BIMM (Brighton Institute of Modern Music) - it is in Brighton, and you get a degree from the University Of Sussex, which is very good. Also, there are MANY italian and spanish people who are learning english in Brighton. http://www.bimm.co.uk/brighton/ i hope this helps! Phil
 2. Right...Dean Sledgehammer... It Suits Practically Any Style And Sounds Bloody Good...But I Rarely Play It, And When I Do, I Always Try To Sneak Down To The Non-Existent Neck Pickup, I Will Be Sad To See It Go, But It Would Be A Lot Happier Being Played Instead Of Collecting Dust. There Are A Couple Of Dinks On The Horn And The Back Of The Bass, But Nothing Too Visible...Oh, also The Neck Is Ridiculously Fast! "A completely unique vibe and a punchy tone come together to set the Sledgehammer apart from the pack. The body is shaped from mahogony and left untouched colorwise to let the lush grain show through. The maple neck and fingerboard are also left in their natural state. Features a "D" Bass Clef 12th fret inlay for a bit of flair. Other deluxe appointments include a set of Grover tuners, a hi-mass quick change bridge, and an exposed pole humbucker complete with an active EQ to shape your tone to the max. It looks and sounds like basses costing a lot more, and will serve well in any musical style." - someone at Dean I would prefer someone to pick this bass up, or meet halfway (providing you dont live in australia) i am based in Brighton And Hove during the week, but i will be In North Kent regularly during the weekends PM me with prices around the 300 mark if You are interested:

 10.
Hi folks, have posted my old Peavey head in the amps forum- have a gander In addition, I have a load (about 30 odd bags) of crappy soil/gravel that's come out of our garden sitting in bin bags sitting out back. Bit of a long shot, but if anyone has any conceivable use for this you're more than welcome to come and take it away as its going to take us forever to get rid of it. I'll even stick the kettle on. I'm in Glasgow, 2 minutes from the south side of the Clyde tunnel.
if i covered cost of postage, would you be able to post it? or is it too big/heavy?

 12.
Thanks mate but its probably not what I'm looking for at the mo.
how much would you be looking for in the way of money?
 13.
BUMP for this thread because its still available. I've got my mind set on a funky sounding 5 string of some description (no jazz basses please). I have a Burman Pro501 combo at last (thanks to WoT) and the Alembic F-2B seems overpriced for what it is so the trade bait list needs updating: 2 channel valve eq (like this by TL Audio) Sandberg Basic or Ken Taylor 5 (esp in blueburst) 87-90 Musicman Stingray 5 or any Stingray 5 with a graphite neck Yamaha BB-NEII any other good quality workhorse 5 string (not Fenders, Warwicks or other Yamahas though, thanks) Status Series 5000 or other graphite necked headless Status 5 string. Particularly gassing for that Yamaha BB-NEII, it would fit the bill perfectly (or even a BB5000 ).
i have a spector performer 5 (Born 2B mild's old one) which sounds pretty damn good...that and about 500-550 of your earth pounds if you are interested.
 14.
Ibanez pickup gone
what ones do you have left?

 16.
I'm really umming and ahhing over this. We lost a hamster a year or so ago and he was a really beloved pet. We've bought a dog since but we could keep some hamsters out of his way easily enough. How old are these guys? Are they tamed (can they be handled without biting)? Also, are you still with/were you ever with Dayfall? What's happening with them (I notice the website's gone)?
i got the hamsters last year in june, so they are about 10 months old, and they only really nibble curiously when you pick them up, but then they dont really bite unless you put your finger up to them like its food. although they cant be put together because they are both male and fight to the death over territory, which is why i would rather give both cages away knowing that they are kept apart. and no, i have never been with dayfall.
 17.
