This kind of petty political sniping and points scoring ruins it for people that just want to read about or discuss the topic at hand.

 

Import/export issues are what they are, and it should be enough for grown adults to leave it there instead of mentioning politics.

I have a Green Russian which sounds epic by itself but when playing with a band and I engage it, I completely disappear from the mix. 
 

Is there any setting that works for a band, live? 

Maybe it's the bass?! 🤣

I only use DR Strings nowadays and it's still cheaper to ship them over from the States than to buy here.

All I'm after is a good quality DI that I can use live and send a strong signal to the FOH. Possibly for recording also.

I'm assuming you mean the front part of the MM pickup? 

I always use the pre EQ option when DI'ing from my amp so I'm not super fussed about getting something with controls - my Sandberg already has plenty of tonal options on tap. 

I have an MXR M80 that is only used as an emergency DI for gigs.

95% of gigs I play is Sandberg > Polytune > Markbass combo. 

Sandberg TM owners - does the coil tap select the front or back coils of the MM pickup?
