Love the Laney. Subtle EQ and options that benefit the player in a live situation. It doesn't force a baked in sound - it lets you dial in how you want it. -
I have a ProDI for emergency situations and everyone has loved it.

It's amazing how many times venues have tried to book my (originals) band under the premise of a charity gig, i.e. we don't have to pay the bands. Charity is a good thing; not paying bands isn't.

MXR Brown Acid is my current fuzz of choice. Based on the Supa Tone Bender circuit but with more bass.

MK II definitely has the bass boost.

The MK II for me is the one. It is the low gain pedal in my opinion.

Check the intonation before looking at the nut. Try replacing the string too.
