I agree on both points. I didn't even know they had my email address until teasers started landing in my inbox. Although I did buy a band shirt in the merch sale a few weeks back, I am usually quite meticulous unchecking those little boxes where they threaten to spam the living daylights out of you. Anyway, less spam and more Eddie so I am not complaining.

You're welcome. I didn't know it was there until someone showed it to me, many bass jams ago. Did you know all YT videos come with a transcript too? If you are ever in need of just one piece of info when Google answers your question with a YT vid and you cba to play it all the way through. Click on the ... (three dots) menu under the video next to the Likes and a drop down menu will show you Open Transcript.

I use the playback speed feature in the gear icon settings at the bottom of the video to slow it down to 75%. If it's complicated or extremely fast then I'll chuck it into Guitar Pro and take it seriously but YT is fine for jamming.

I was all over that shizzle when those albums came out 🤦‍♀️ As opposed as I am to misogynistic, sexist comments, I remain amused by once seeing them referred to as Transvision Tramp. Ouch ...

Did you see that BBC programme over Christmas, they showed lots of footage from broadcast performances of heavy metal, had Budgie and all sorts. It was a real treat to watch. I think it was late on Boxing Day evening, or maybe after they aired Metallica at Glastonbury.. Anyway, it was great, they showed this Priest performance, I'm sure of it.
