  1. Well, it's a slow morning in the office so you just made me google it. The answer is: quite a few actually ๐Ÿ˜ƒ
  2. Me neither. Every day is a school day right...?
  3. Can add it to the thousands of misheard lyrics from my youth still floating around in my brain. God bless the internet and its depths of useless yet important information.
  4. I challenge you to work the word 'Atlantisy' into a sentence this week! ๐Ÿคฃ
  5. Fresh Prince .... I whistled for a cab and when it came near The license plate said fresh and it had dice in the mirror Dubious! ๐Ÿ˜†
  6. ๐Ÿ˜ฎ You talking up a big game there, friend ๐Ÿ˜ I've got a mate keeps posting their vids on my FB, she's nuts about them. But shan't argue with you about the landscapes in their videos.
  7. That would be a good sub forum. We could post about how we don't have any gear ๐Ÿ˜
  8. No, I do fun casino events at weddings and parties and there's always a hired band too. I know Mr Brightside isn't going anywhere soon. And as a bonus, I've had it in my head since I made my post half an hour ago so that's great as well ๐Ÿ˜‚
  9. The Hu are gaining TRACTION. Clearly though, I need to get with the program because I cannot see what the fuss is all about. As for Mr Brightside - there's not many songs that make me want to shoot myself in the head when I hear them (actually, that's not even true - there's lots). Pre-lockdown I too was subject to hearing the same old same old set list every time I went to work on a Saturday night and ohhhhh I don't miss it.
  10. Ace ๐Ÿ˜‚ I'm crap at bass too. But still, we persevere .. ๐Ÿ‘
  11. Great video too. (Also, loved this track in Californication)
  12. Which store? I have a mate who works at the Birmingham branch.
  13. This. I had to take a leap of faith when I bought my Jackson online last year - I got lucky and I could tell it had been the right move as soon as I got it in my hands for the first time. I got it from Andertons in Guildford because I wasn't going to let those corporate bar stewards at PMT (unfortunate name, that) have my money. But yeah .. Welcome to you, Mr Jazz. ๐Ÿ‘
  14. Hi. Iโ€™m Esther. I live sort of near London. I have been the owner of a KCC bass/amp combo for several years (lame, I know). After a very long hiatus, I picked up it again at the start of lockdown a year ago and began spanking it in a meaningful way. Last summer I fell in love with an electric blue JS2 Spectra, put a classy matching Dimarzio strap on it for the look, and off on my merry way I went. I keep the KCC tuned to Eflat so I can chop and change, but I donโ€™t bother with it much. The back of the neck is more rounded than the Jackson and I find it a little harder to reach, amongst other reasons. I am a dedicated lifetime fan of speed/thrash/death/black metal (in that order) plus any given combination of those four - never let it be said that I am closeminded ๐Ÿ˜ I enjoy playing 80โ€™s rock like DC and Def Leppard for warming up and messing around but I am cutting my teeth on practising Megadeth and early Maiden these days because I like the challenge. I donโ€™t have much more kit than this, and I donโ€™t really know much about hardware but it is interesting to read and learn stuff on here. So thanks for having me, this seems like a nice forum. I havenโ€™t met any nutters so far yet but never say never โ€ฆ.
  15. I ain't farting on no snare drum! Sorry, couldn't resist ..
  16. I think that the Load/Reload thing is exactly the same as the Use Your Illusion double album deal - a whole load of tracks that could have made just one half-decent album rather than being filled out with a lot of inferior tracks. I really liked what you said about the band still being in there somewhere, and I consider myself lucky to have grown up alongside the music Metallica have produced as they made their journey, but sometimes I wonder what the hell they were thinking when they wrote Enter Sandman ..
  17. Sure but not anywhere near to the numbers that the Black album reached ...
  18. Yeah! Add It Up was one of the very first songs I jammed (extremely badly).
