  1. Hi This is probably going to be up for sale this week due to the imminent arrival of something else! It's in good condition, works perfect Was serviced by ashdown last year as this is one of JJ burnell a actual amps It's one of the first batch and they went straight to him, also, it doesn't have the rat logo on the front! I bought this direct from ashdown after it came back from mr burnell, it was then checked out and sent to me! If you are not familiar with this amp, it's a bit different than the ABM range! It's what was know as ashdown labs at some point and this is basically the same amp as the MK500 (mark king model, the red one) Images to follow Would consider a trade on something like a TC BH250 or other pocket sized amp I'm in Manchester, but will post at your cost Best way to catch me if you are interested in this is by email as I normally check the forum on my phone and iOS 7 keeps logging me out? Shepsurf at gmail.com Tony
  2. Wish i had seen those pro series star basses at thomman, the gold looks great! Want to try one of these fenders though! Tony
  3. Mmmmmmmm, tempted, have been on the look out for a DB750/1 but the lighter weight and solid reputation of this amp is tempting! I'm in Manchester too! Tony
  4. It landed today! been playing a fair, just simple tunes my band does in an acoustic way, was too low at first, got the height right, much better but left hand aching, need lessons, so need a tutor in Manchester! anyone know of a tutor in Manchester? Thx Tony
  5. Hi Should have an NXT in my hands at weekend, had a brief encounter with a WAV a few years back, but other band commitments meant I didn't really get on it! One thing I learnt from last time, get some lessons and get the basics sorted, so looking for a Manchester based upright tutor, I've heard of a few but can't for the life of me remember their names, doh! Got a little acoustic jam night kind of thing planned with a guitarist and an iPad, was going to use a semi acoustic, but looking forward to nailing it on EUB! Tony
  6. If I was considering a new NXT I think I would have to look at that, but funds are only there for a used bass right now!
