I used a B-301 in the 80's and got another a few years ago, I think they are cool looking , great quality and sounds decent too! Richard Jones from The Feeling uses a B-301 a lot too , prices vary quite a bit if you can find a decent one Here's me looking rather dashing 'with hair and spandex' in the 80's (it was acceptable then apparently...)

All three are superb, I’ve had the Performer as well as a couple of MIJ Mustangs and I currently have a JMJ .... get a used one and you’ll not need to worry about losing money, you can pick up a good Performer or JMJ for around £650 on a good day

Funnily enough yes! One saddle was centred when they all should be left aligned, I contacted Fender UK and was resolved quickly as it a know issue now.
