  1. Tasteful post well done
  2. Accordion is a beautiful thing in the right hands 👍
  3. And that's another truth of it
  4. That's about the truth of it
  5. Is it a new instrument? Looks like someone bought a decent Nash relic and tried to take it the extra mile with their power sander. Otherwise that was a very long and boozy Friday at Nash
  6. FFS, I suspect that while Fender have their faults, not knowing how to design and build a bass guitar are not among them. Funny how these faults weren't evident until it landed on his bench 😡
  7. 5-string Precisions are rare but bloody lovely, and this looks to be underpriced by comparison with a lot of equivalent 4-strings currently out there. Good luck @Grav 👍
  8. That's my impression, aside from a few discussions as to the merits/faults of the design and process, I don't recall anyone discussing ownership (and the reality here is that if someone owns a bass there's a good chance that same person will - at some stage - sell that bass, and I've not seen one for sale either)
  9. Very nice units, I gigged mine a lot and it always sounded lush
  10. Swearing test shit w**ker guitarist c*** arse bollocks singer......?
  11. That reeks of privilege 😁
  12. Chocs will eat anything 🤔
  13. Yes, never seen a reason to change and I like that it’s easy access across all mine and my family’s devices. As per @ped post I like the album model
  14. There is a visceral response to high SPLs and the lower the frequency the greater the response, so yes, big bass cabs on stage have a real effect. But I doubt there's any longer a case for saying you can't get the same tone via other means, both sides of the equation - signal processing and amplification - have just moved on so much. And that's ignoring the negative effects of high SPLs
  15. Yep, fair point 👍
  16. Are you also using ear protection?
  17. Exactly 👍
  18. Not sure an 8x10 is a good idea in either a rehearsal room or studio
  19. Large cabs are getting like pianos which you petty much can't give them away. Audio technology has moved on a hell of a lot and most gigging bassists without roadies just don't need the hassle of large cabs. Good time to buy one
  20. I'm going to leave this here for the weekend and then probably keep it. In all seriousness you will not find this gear at easier terms so speak now or forever hold your peace
  21. Absolutely, £30 return if you shop around, you get to visit Margate which is a very nice place (these days), and to meet one of Kent's premier bassists. What's not to like about that 🤔 Hurry up or I'll buy it
