1. So you basically want a passive instead of active then? Have you ever played the mid 90s fender deluxe jazz basses?
2. Sorry for the dopey pm your in Bolton I'm in Manchester - good start. But why oh why would you want to swap for a us standard?? I just don't understand...
3. I'm scared to even talk to you about this in case I get tempted.
4. good luck with the sale, I've just popped mine up on ebay so hopefully that will get some attention - it's always a shame to have to sell such a great amp! Cheers
5. Cheers for the bumps... Sorry no gutshots, it's not that easy to get into the wiring. With my track record in taking things apart and getting them back together combined with the big "ELECTRIC SHOCK HAZARD DO NOT OPEN" sign I think I'd better not... here are a few better pics though. http://www.flickr.com/photos/76608801@N02/ I'm looking for a quick sale because I'm moving house and the solicitors and surveyors will need paying... so feel free to make me a reasonable offer. Cheers
6. Sorry for the delay in getting back to you - what do you mean by gutshots? Let me know what photos you need and I will post them. Cheers
Any chance of gutshots?
8. Peavey Microbass. Had this for years, it has always been a fantastic little practice amp, great tone and plenty of volume. Decided I didnt like black tolex when I was younger so I cut all this off hence the "wood" finish... Apart from that this is in good nick and nothing has ever gone wrong with it. Great little practice amp for peanuts, £20 collected from south Manchester or delivery options available. Cheers Alan 07515651871 Not letting me upload picture on here, will email on request.
9. Advertised at £900 elsewhere but will drop price for basschatter - you must show your basschat membership card!!
10. MJW Roadstar 36 amplifier head and 4x10 speaker cab in green. Under 2 years old, has had light usage only. Selling due to disbanding of my group - I am a bassist and it is a shame to have such a great amplifier sitting in my house like a piece of furniture. Immaculate condition throughout except for one scuff underneath the front of the speaker cab which cannot be seen during normal use. The head is a custom model created to best show the natural qualities of the amp itself, so has minimal controls. The controls are: Power switch Standby Switch Volume Boost switch Boost level Tone Gain The boost boosts the gain of the amp, the tone is a treble similar to the tone knob on a guitar. The 4x10" speaker cab is also a custom variation, with a greater spread of sound than the 2x10" and a punchier tone than the 12" variations. All in all this is a fantastically toneful and remarkably versatile rock/blues amp suitable for gigging and rehearsing with any serious group. Trials are welcome by appointment and I can deliver this personally if required - looking for £900 ono. Supplied with new valves and cables. MJW blurb below. Thanks Alan 07515651871 Roadstar Available in both 18 and 36 Watt versions, the Roadstar is powered by EL84s, in push-pull class AB, plus 3 ECC83s. This output stage is the choice of players seeking something a bit special, with chimey cleans and a full bodied roar when cranked. At 18 Watts, this amp produces enough volume for small gigs, and when cranked gives natural power stage distortion at sensible volume. The 36 Watt version is more than capable of driving a full stack and filling large venues, and provides more headroom for cleaner sounds. The ultra pure signal path comprises only volume and tone controls for maximum tone, and the TT boost is now standard. Like all MJW amps, the Roadstar uses the highest quality components, including British-made transformers.

Or if any one knows of any in a shop anywhere in the country, I would be grateful if you could let me know. Thanks
just to tease you i have one of these and it is amazing =)
15.
Mine too! This bass has certainly done the rounds since I did a trade for it with it's original owner back in Autumn 2009, which surprises me because it's such a great sounding bass! I would definitely have kept it if it'd been a 34" scale neck.. Good luck with the sale/trade!
Hello everyone, yup - done the rounds - I bought this new and had it imported from Germany for me!

21. BUMP for new pics and SPLIT!!! I have to split this unfortunately as there is some sort of unknown fault with the NL-210. It makes a hissy flappy noise which is quite quiet but can be heard... This is believed to be coming from the speakers rather than the horn - so I am selling as follows EA iamp 800 + swanflight 4u case + cables + original EA gig bag £350 The head is immaculate. 1x12" CXL n2EV £175 or £500 the pair *faulty* 2x10" NL210-8 £50 or would throw in for £25 with the pair. that makes £525 for the whole lot!!! Please note that the rig is still in working condition, it is just expected that the speaker drivers in the 2x10" will soon require replacement... This is based in Manchester. Here's some extra pics of the cabs...
