The pick guard on my Ray35 stingray is covered in fine scratches and looks a bit rough. Is there a way to polish out the scratches and make it look good again? I don't like the idea of replacing throwing it in the bin to replace it.

My basses are all made in Indonesia and my amp and cabs are made in Britain. Two of my four effects pedals are made in Britain, one in France and one in China. I don't know where my picks are made.

I think I'm going to try an MXR 10 band. My preamp is great and I can set it's on board EQ for each of the two channels but when I set it to blend both channels it combines the EQ settings and doesn't sound quite right so I just want to be able to run an EQ pedal after it and just switch it on with the belnded channels.

I've been in a band with a very heavy pot smoker. Each rehearsal I'd get a call from him today he'd be late because he lost his car keys then when he arrived he'd have a smoke before setting up and between each song we'd have to listen to his latest conspiracy theory about Bill Gates/5G/Aliens/vaccines then the inevitable "do you fancy a line?" before a rant about how you never know what they put in vaccines (he never saw the irony). We all quit in the end because we'd pay for five hours in a rehearsal room and play for less than an hour and we just got fed up with the unpredictable solos.
