  1. What about something different ? a 10" + compressor ( Celestion), wedge 350w .Only 9kg......Made by Scott Dixon from aircraft aluminum ....its very stiff & air tight to military spec so the vent works correctly I helped design and test (I have no financial interest) I have been using for 5 months in covid safe rehearsals and it has been awesome. Its tight full & loud, compact and my back is delighted....the band love it, I also have the 12" version but pref' the 10". As you can see in the pic's it can be wedge or straight. Hope it helps.
  2. The Guardian guitar This is a guitar I have had for years as wall art; never played, it's a custom Leverty guitar, the design and artwork is by Jim Fogarty, who told me he worked on this (on & of) for over 4 years, (the grandchildren love it). Can post some build pic's if there is interest!
  3. Singers using lyric books?...are you sure?

  5. These are amazing custom hand made basses. The design, construction and materials are first class. Easy to play due to imaginative ergonomics and achieves a (new!) acoustic deep sound with a piano ring achieving a deep cut through. They also look cool, its good to be different and support bass innovation I have the 4 string fretted & 6 string electro acoustic (rocklight), which Mike introduced, he's a great guy, buy with confidence....B

  13. >125 editions of the UK Bass Guitar magazine, from 2008 to 2020 ( I think over that time they issued ~183) All in good nick, plenty of lockdown bass content? Collection only....all money going to the Hope centre https://northamptonhopecentre.org.uk/
  14. Update on aluminium wedge cab.... ..after testing the first production unit, which I was very happy with, John Dixon decided to increase the sealing with custom gaskets, something he developed when supplying the US airforce. Because the cab volume & port is optimised for the Celestion BN12-300S, in theory the cab efficiency/clarity should improve. I & a bass mate in Birmingham received the new version 10 days ago and after playing with a variety of basses and cab comparisons...the theory is reality..we are both v'pleased. Sound is subjective...(I use it for monitoring +DI & small venues) ...so all I can say is I can achieve all the sounds & volume I need with more depth & clarity than the cab's I have had (Ashdown, Greenboy, Quilter, Agular, EA, etc)....and the cab is only 11.5kg. (see pic's on page 1) Lid is ~1.5kg John, has designed a 1x10 + compression driver, which I'm looking forward to trying. John is a founder of Scott Dixon, I am a customer & have no commercial interest (except paying the invoice!)
  15. ON HOLD Price cut £350...now £300...collection from Northampton Quilter Bassliner 2x10W.docx
  16. Great...do have a look at the light weight cab I got 10 days ago for comparison British hand made. It larger because I wanted to get the full volume recommended by Celestian
  17. I think someone was asking what speakers are used?...Jenson
  18. The AT 112 H would be my choice as it has front port. I have never liked rear ports because they are very position/venue sensitive imo...if you go ahead let us know where you purchased & your opinion
