What does the Compact look like with old school styling?
Are you thinking of creating any super light 4x10 cabs?
I believe Alex has mentioned not being able to get 10" drivers as good as the 15" drivers he uses.
Also the 410 design is nowhere near as good as what Alex provides already.
Also this certainly isn't a crap song (at least in my opinion. I love it), just one that is often thought about, but Science Fiction, Double Feature from the Rocky Horror Show has an awesome bass line.
I wonder if scratchplates could be fitted with magnetic points like cavity covers are these days or if they'd look odd without screws ...
I had that exact idea a few months ago but as yet I haven't acted upon it. It would be pretty cool, eh?
I'm really surprised this hasn't sold yet. I haven't seen such a reasonably priced one for ages. If I had the money now I'd probably buy it myself, but alas, that is not to be.
Good luck with sale anyway and have a free bump.
Thanks guys.
The bass is passive, and the fanned frets are practically unnoticeable when you are playing. I've gone from having played only 30" scale basses to this 37"-34" with no problem, and boy does it sound good.
