GS cabs are supposed to have a bit of a mid scoop, whilst the DBs are a bit more prominent in the mids.

Remember that speaker size only affects dispersion. It doesn't affect tone.

Someone else will explain this all to you soon, but I'll add this. The fundmental of a note is not needed (especially one so low). Also speaker size only affects dispersion. It's the T/S specs that are important along with the volume and tuning of the cab itself (I think). edit: It's pretty safe to ignore most manufacturer published specs. They're normally complete rubbish.

The LMII scopes out as pretty much flat. Good head. Also, remember that when buying cabs, driver size means next to nothing really.

I mean does the limiter kick in at all when pushed at 6 ohms. Some people notice this at 8 ohms, so I was wondering whether it was the same at 6 ohms.

Does the LMII cope with the 6 ohm load well?

If you can afford it, try and pick up a Barefaced cab. The Hartke LH series heads are good if you can find them used.
