Someone else will explain this all to you soon, but I'll add this. The fundmental of a note is not needed (especially one so low). Also speaker size only affects dispersion. It's the T/S specs that are important along with the volume and tuning of the cab itself (I think). edit: It's pretty safe to ignore most manufacturer published specs. They're normally complete rubbish.

The LMII scopes out as pretty much flat. Good head. Also, remember that when buying cabs, driver size means next to nothing really.

I mean does the limiter kick in at all when pushed at 6 ohms. Some people notice this at 8 ohms, so I was wondering whether it was the same at 6 ohms.

Does the LMII cope with the 6 ohm load well?

If you can afford it, try and pick up a Barefaced cab. The Hartke LH series heads are good if you can find them used.

I'm looking to buy a Markbass LMIII from thomann soon and although I'm sure it'll work fine over here I'm just double checking first. I know it's a silly question, but will this amp sold in Germany work fine over here? - I just need a new power lead, right? Thanks

If you're looking at the Neox 212 and not the 112, I'd suggest the Big One as it is about the same size and weight.

How smooth and warm can the Big One be? I like treble in some situations so I wouldn't want to 'sacrifice' a mid-driver with another model, but if the cab can be a bit smoother it'd be great! Also, how aggressive sounding is it, and can this be dialled out at all? Lastly, someone told me that the mid-driver was a bit too much and there wasn't much bass from the speaker due to the thin plywood. I took this with a pinch of salt as it doesn't seem to go along with what I've heard about this cab. Were these views unfounded?
