2. I think it's worth £250 and I've got cash waiting. Seriously, it's a beauty. If you want to swap for an Aerodyne and some £££s, or rather £s, let me know.

4. Google "Amazing Slow Downer" and run the track through that. You'll easily be able to pick out the stuff you can't hear at normal speed. I've just started using it and it's ace.
5.
did you message those guys I told you about? The one offered 400 for mine, maybe he's still after one.
Not yet. I might now be selling it to a guy at work. If he doesn't want it, i'll follow up your leads. Cheers!
6. Be warned: if you're sending a DVD, make sure it's the best possible quality. Professional quality. Not a clip from a camcorder, locked off in the corner of a pub. It will say "amateur band" faster than you can get to the chorus of the first song on it! For a pub band, keep it simple. I send: 1. Demo CD - good quality and well mixed with contact details on. Best song first. 3 or 4 track tops. Print the label if you can using your computer (you can buy sticky CD labels from Smiths) 2. Letter saying hello - again with contact details on 3. Setlist 4. Business card (again you can buy template card from Smiths and get great results with a home printer) If you've got a band logo - print that on everything. Looks good. I'm going to start including a flyer with our upcoming gigs on (makes you look busy and in demand) and a photo. Bottom line, you're better off leaving stuff out of the envelope unless it looks slick.
7. They look like the Village People. Or maybe the Scissor Sisters!
8. Somebody Told Me or Jenny Was A Friend Of Mine - Killers. Both great basslines.

10. Good work. Nice playing. I couldn't do it! Although - how high's he got that guitar?! Makes Mark King look like lowslung!
11.
I really want it, but the girlfriend says 'we' don't need three Fender Jazzes.
Tell her you need a spare for the spare, just in case the spare doesn't work. ;-)
12.
Everything was through the PA, and the only thing you could hear really was the vocals and drums, everything else was just a much of imense low end.
I saw a similar band the other day. A tribute band (obviously used to bigger venues) playing a small bar locally. Everything through the PA and overhead mics on the drums. The soundcheck was *really* loud. They were on in-ears, so didn't have a clue! Classic case of not really thinking about where you're playing. Small bars don't need stadium sound!
13. There's always room for another.. Just a PS to say I'll leave this on here for a week and then will put it on Ebay for £440 BIN delivered *without* the case (which is what they seem to go for). Will prob then sell the case as a sep item for £50.
14. I'm open to offers from BassChatters. Ideally would like to swap this for a G&L L2000 Tribute or similar. Any money from this is going back on another bass anyway. As ever, would rather someone here got this bass.

16. It's a great bass - just not my cup of tea. With a pukka Fender case and delivery, £420's a pretty good price then!
17. BUMP with new pix! Would rather this went to a BC'er than Ebay.
18. Recommend Award-Session. They make up custom cables using good quality cable and Neutrik connectors at their place in Basingstoke. Fast turnaround and good value - eg 6m for 10 quid. Delivery reasonable too. I bought two and they're great. http://www.award-session.com/cleartone_cables.html
19. Check out the Yamaha BB414 for sale in the "Basses: For Sale" section. A really good buy.
20.
$40? That's £20. You could afford that if you stayed in one night of a weekend, no?
Just checked again and it's actually $45, which you're right, is only about £20ish. If no-one's interested, I might buy it myself but I'd just thought someone might like to know about it and share it with me. Like I say, longshot but worth asking!
21. Longshot - but does anyone want to split the cost of a bit of software with me? Have found a great little app that works in the same way as a Tascam BT1 trainer. It slows down the song while retaining the pitch. The killer bit about it is that it plays, CDs, MP3s and MP4s (iTunes). The demo version lets you see it in action but prevents you from using it fully (naturally). I quite fancy buying the licence but it's $40. Anyone fancy going halves with me? I'd ask the guitarist in my band but he's not very computer savvy. Have a looksee: http://www.ronimusic.com/amsldowin.htm and PM me if you're interested.
22. Very nice. Think you could afford to get another blatant www.basschat.co.uk in at the bottom there. People tend to skim read things and spelling it out again at the bottom wouldn't hurt. Otherwise, very good!
23. Now sold pending payment Non-export Aerodyne made for Japanese market. Beautiful bass that always gets people asking about it. Binding and finish on it are superb. Metallic blue sparkle type colour & matching headstock. Supplied with an original Fender Jazz hard case (which was bought at extra cost), Fender gig bag and Jap manual/tools. Great bass to play, P/J pickups give a good range of P or J tones. Great attack with pick. Freshly re-strung with Ernie Ball Slinkys. Only £399 with the Fender moulded hard case Cheers Matt
