It's easy to make some gauges and then you'l definitely l know what it is: Improvise a compass (piece of string and pencil or similar), draw arcs of required radius on to some paper or card (these lines only have to be the width of the fretboard), cut out each one and there you go.

Might be worth listening if he/Budgie gets a mention on The Rock Show* 8pm tonight on Radio 2; possibly a good chance as Kelly Jones (Stereophonics) is standing-in for Johnnie Walker so there's a Welsh connection. *I know it's Radio 2 but I think it's a really good programme anyway and I'm not really a rock music fan.
