As the title, no damage - fantastic amp, super low weight and lots of power delivery. 3.70kg in small format, 900w @ 4 Ohm, 600w @ 8 Ohm Taste knob adding loads of versatility, vintage to scooped modern. Get me before I withdraw it, this is the only amp I've bought twice if that shows how much I like it! I've seen something I'm really after, can drop it down to £550

... I'm always switching between Stingrays and Precisions, so.... Musicman & Fender... After letting go of my Rays and putting some money in the bank... American Original 60s Jazz (Sonic Blue) and American Original 60s (Lake Placid Blue). Genuinely surprised, these two are a-mazing!!!! Will tell you more once tried out on rehearsal...! I had a stunt with an active Fender but realised it's not my thing... for active basses I'll choose Stingray 10/10 but realising I'm most of the times on the same settings, I'll just do the EQ on the HX Stomp / Amp and go...! Best, Ander.

Ah, just came back from an idilic sunny drive back from David's after collecting his (my!) American Original Jazz bass. Even though we got to speak due to another bass, this turned out to be a great happenstance. It had been a while since my last Jazz and David's offer was absolutely fit for my needs. The bass was in perfect condition as he mentioned and you can tell is was beautifully taken care of. We had a great chat and David was super welcoming, I felt very comfortable dealing with him with perfect communications. ... Sometimes, GAS allowing, one realises the human value of this community, dealing with the wonderful people that keep it alive and make you keep a smile on your face: David is one of these gentlemen. Deal with absolute confidence.

Fender AV II 54 & 60 Precision plus AV II 66 Jazz.

this is the most Commerford I’ve seen Sean play! What a guy! -
Hey all...! Since I let go of my 'Rays I decided to settle on Precisions. This was one of them and whilst it is mint and in great shape, I think I have enough with one passive P. The Elite series is the one that got replaced by the recent Ultra. Notes: * 4kg, super light considering woods * Ash body, full maple neck * 9.5 to 14" radius * C to D profile, flattens out as you go up the frets with easier access heel * Passive tone, Active/passive switch, bass/mid/treble, pickup balance * Truss rod adjustment at bottom (no longer in Ultra range) * Strings through body or up top (no longer in Ultra range) * Case & Candy The Ultra is currently often in preorder and at 2.1k£, so grab yourself a deal...!

Hi! Selling this pick guard that came with my American Original 60s. I don't fully know the pricing of pick guards but I've checked and they're £75 new, this comes with the packaging part number etc too as in the picture. Happy to hear offers. Asking £35 plus postage, think that should be attractive? Pictures taking in the evening with artificial light, not so strong / whiter in person I guess...! Best, Ander.

The posts above precede the expectation of meeting Karl when buying his (my!) Elite Precision. He's just a top gentleman, super quick communications, information, responsiveness and accommodating in meeting halfway to my favour. Can't recommend him enough!! Have a good one Karl and thanks again!

Met with Darren to purchase his lovely American Original 60s P - all as in pictures/advertised, great communications and accommodating to find a point in between for the sale to take place. Super lovely chap that I would most definitely recommend!

Sold my dearest and beloved SR5 special to Chris and I know it'll go to a loving home - very good communications and fast payment, serious business and no fiddling about! Up to date with logistics to pick it up and all in all just an absolute gentleman to deal with. Would most definitely recommend! Enjoy that beast Chris!

very good summary that I totally agree with. very true….! But even those are coming up! I kinda regret not haven’t jumped on one of those CS precisions that were around the 1800-2200 mark less than a year ago…! Best, Ander.

I agree with your sentiment buddy, but it’s fair to expect definitely “more”. What that “more” is is complicated for everyone and depends on pockets but for me personally I can do up to 2k£ to be impressed with a bass (inflation will bring that up for sure eventually). Above that I can’t justify. For others that point is 1k, 8k, etc and that’s perfectly fine. very true on incremental increase bringing marginal gain though. Ander.

Hm... I'm very much like the OP here - I have learnt to love P basses (growing up I thought they were the most boring thing, eh!) and most of the basses I've had have been either P basses or Stingrays. When the P needs call, I find myself drooling for the CS Fenders and do dream of ever having one - but then I think 'hold up, get a Limelight for one third of that and make it more yours' and that 'want' disappears. I do think it's an itch to scratch and I would like to try one. In a past life when I was playing guitars I played a Private Stock 594 worth 10k£ and to be honest it felt like your "regular" 3k£ PRS, so I understand many of the sentiments here. Having said that, I've heard and read that if you want a NOS, CS feel-like Fender, the American Original 60s in nitro / Vintage II series are on par sound and finish wise - and you get to do your own relic as time goes... Best, Ander.

I've a good example to share here next week

... Aaaaand the other one is here! for those that didn't read my previous sale here, the time has come for my Rays and I to bid adieu. It's been a great great time (as my absence here has shown) but bills, renovations, a new motorcycle and others mean I have to let go of something. Notes: - Colour is discontinued. - This series is on Swamp Ash body - newer ones (the £3.2k+ of today are 'select hardwood' - unspecific). Board is ebony, neck on roasted maple. - This bass does NOT have the cutout for controls on the back unlike the new ones (less plastic covers... more wood?) - Bass is 4kg, I'm picky for weight and can pull off 4hr rehearsals with it super super comfortably. Offered with absolutely all case and candy. - Hipshot detuner added on the original tuner - can be reversed easily and without troubles. - Original pick guard, 3 layer matt black and single layer matt black pickguards included, flat AND round Daddario NYXL and Chromes as new included, same as dunlop strap locks - Super mint condition with no blemish that I may spot, perfectly adjusted and cleaned with Music Nomad suite. - Serial: September 2018. Neck is super smooth and the preamp is incredibly versatile, P, J bass sounds... it's done all my round wound recordings in studio to date. You can here it here, clean, gritty and pushed distortion in the middle 8 part of this song (2:26): I've something arranged and bills so I need the money - no trades and can hear offers - I reserve the right to withdraw or sell it to what I consider to be a good home. Thank you for drooling my post.

Musicman Stingray Special 5HH Cruz Teal - *SOLD*

Well. Although I did not see this coming, it is happening. I bought a new bike, a personal loss putting things in perspective and, much as this is my favourite bass ever, bills and life have made me downscale my gear. Perspective I guess. Selling my unicorn (which I managed to find again) first edition of the Musicman Stingray Special 5HH in Cruz Teal. The bass was bought BRAND NEW and imported from USA in March this year - call it NOS or what you will but the bass is perfectly impeccable. It took me several laps around the world to find it and bring it home (and pay duties on!). Notes: - Colour is discontinued. - This series is on Swamp Ash body - newer ones (the £3.2k+ of today are 'select hardwood' - unspecific). Board is ebony, neck on roasted maple. - This bass does NOT have the cutout for controls on the back unlike the new ones (less plastic covers... more wood?) - Bass is 4.2kg, I'm picky for weight and can pull off 4hr rehearsals with it comfortably. Offered with absolutely all case and candy. - Pearloid pickguard, flat AND round Daddario Chromes / NYXL included, same as dunlop strap locks - More than mint condition, not gigged, perfectly adjusted and cleaned with Music Nomad suite. - Serial: August 21st, 2019. Neck is the most comfortable I've had on a 5er, and the 5 position switch blade is delicious - I used to think I did not need HH config but I have been using the single configuration on cleans quite a bit, lots of twang or growl too if you engage both humbuckers! P and J tones are also super easy to achieve with this 18V preamp. Of course dead silent. I've something arranged and bills so I need the money - no trades and can hear offers - I reserve the right to withdraw or sell it to what I consider to be a good home. Thank you for drooling my post.
