  1. UK parts distributor has gone which has given me a headache. I played a show on Saturday and at end of show whilst carting equipment out I managed to lose one complete castor wheel mechanism, so only 3 wheels on my wagon so to speak. Does anyone know where I can get hold of one, or if someone has the can but discarded the castors, please get on touch
  2. Play Bass for 1978 original punk bank Open Sore of Farewell to the Roxy album fame, which features original singer Bob Kiley and guitarist Sean Burke (Open Sore, Tubeway Army, Tubeway Patrol and Jayne County & The Electric Chairs). http://m.youtube.com/#/watch?v=XFfJQjfDnRY&desktop_uri=%2Fwatch%3Fv%3DXFfJQjfDnRY
  3. Purchased an Ampeg PF500 and 15" Portaflex Cab from Steve. Incredible guy, drove it all the way from Portsmouth to me, and incredibly patient and trusting regarding payment. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend dealing with Steve. He is a top guy! Thanks Steve
  4. Sorry just looked at pic, yes 8ohm. Pm'd
  5. Bump and update. Used this last night in a rehearsal and its nice and loud, easily competed with full band line up and tone from MOSFET amp was lovely almost valve like :-)
  6. All pm's replied too. Still loads of equipment available :-)
  7. Am looking to close studio by end of june, so realistically going to be selling the equipment. Let me know if your interested in anything, pm me or email me on [email protected]
  8. For Sale is my rehearsal bass combo which is an original british made Trace Elliot 15" commando mosfet, in green tolex. Sounds lovely, good power output and in good condition. Would prefer collection from either Bristol or Kettering. Can deliver reasonable mileage.
  9. If you need any auralux tiles I have plenty left over from when I had my studios built. Let me know and I'll give you a good price on them :-)
  10. Wouldn't want to do it that way to be honest. Too risky.
  11. Have a real mixture of feelings about this. So my divorce will be complete in May, and I am in a happy relationship with a Northamptonshire lass, which I am going to be setting up home with, which sadly means that its too far a commute for my studio in North Bristol. So I have two options either to close and sell the equipment, or to sell the business for a similar cost to the equipment, either way not a huge outlay. there are 3 sides to the business. I am not in a desperate rush to move, but ideally want to sort within next few months.. If you would like more info along with website details etc then please contact me. 14. Hi, Have recently joined original 1977 'the Roxy' band Open Sore, best known for their track 'Vertigo' featured on Farewell to the Roxy Album. The band features original singer Bob Kyley and guitarist Sean Burke (ex open sore, tubeway army and Jayne county and electric chairs). We are doing a show in London on 5th July 2013 and have one support band, but would like to give a London based punk band opportunity of joining the show, to make 3 band line up. Can anyone on the forum recommend a good band? We don't want to approach the bigger bands as theire is a possible Roxy Band tour on the cards featuring bands that played there. Thanks for any help and recommendations guys
