4.
Just my two peneth: I've bought the Korg Pitchclip, TC Polytune clip and the Planet Waves nano. For me the best of the 3 is the Korg. The TC works great on guitar but the poly tuning is redundant on bass and it struggles to track my E string let alone a low B. The Nano I found too small and the proof of that is that I managed to loose it - worked well until then though. So given that the Korg tracks all my bass (4 and 5 strings) no problem and is considerably cheaper than the TC it gets my vote.
You say your tc tracks guitar but not bass, hope you don't mind me asking, do you remember to switch it to bass mode when tuning on bass? Only reason I ask is I had terrible problems trying to tune my bass with the tc until I read there was a guitar mode and bass mode on them, when I checked I was trying to tune bass in guitar mode. Once I switched to bass mode problem solved.
5. Having recently been made unemployed, I was looking for a cheap small practice combo. Davie contacted me and gave me an Ashdown practice combo. It arrived today and is exactly what I need. Davie is a top top genuine man, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him and would help him out in the future if ever the need arose.

7. I've been playing for many years and would say I'm an average self taught player. I have only ever played in originals bands, some signed some not. Apart from playing in an iggy and the stooges tribute band for a couple of years about a decade ago. Here is my problem, I haven't played with a band since I did a tour last April. My playing style is mainly plectrum and finger. I am struggling in the area to find another originals band, which may be partly down to age and also lack of originals bands in Northamptonshire. I started recently to advertise on join my band and have had a number of covers/functions bands approach me but every time I get set list I struggle with some tracks so end up doubting my ability and bottle it. It's getting me right down. I've agreed with one band to rehearse next Monday they gave me set list and said pick some tracks and let us know which ones in advance. I am already in my head worrying, which is mad because I've been playing for so many years. Has this affected any of you fellow bassists and how have you over come it? When playing a cover to you play note for note accuracy or your take of the song? Any tips or advice welcome and appreciated.

11. Will accept reasonable offer for quick sale of this fantastic set up.
12. For Sale is my Ampeg PF500 in excellent condition. The amp has been well looked after, I always take care of my kit and its lived in the flip top of pf115 (now sold). Have used it live but always through house pa at venues so has been in essence my stage monitor. Tone from this is lovely. Only selling as fancy a change. Prefer collection. Item is located in Kettering, but I work in Milton Keynes, so could be collected from either or I can deliver in reasonable distance for petrol money.
13. Oh and my step daughter bought me Unknown Pleasures, Peter Hook inside Joy Division. Can't wait to read it :-)
14. Am well happy the missus bought me a suprise a gator progo bass case and it's excellent :-)
15. All I've done is have a bit of fun in the festive season with neons I had lying around and a scrap neck, jeez!
16. It's just the neck with added neon lights attached leant up against a speaker cab, for some reason it's gone landscape.
17.
I bought this lovely bass from a forum member back in April of this year. It's in excellent condition and had a replacement Jack socket sorted after I purchased it. It plays like butter, sounds great, build quality on these are good. Would make a fantastic starter bass, main or back up bass. The pictures are from the original advert but since purchasing I haven't taken it out of the house. Only selling as I purchased a new bass a fender pb551 boxer bass, so have to keep her in doors happy. Would prefer collection From Kettering, I also work in Milton Keynes, push comes to shove I would courier at extra cost. I will also include a gig bag with the bass.
