1. Rushden only up the road from me, might pop along :-)
2. Great basses, this won't be around for long.
3. Price reduced too a bargain price of £45. The tone and volume pots are correct cts ones you would expect to find I've been advised.
4. Just taken delivery of a 1986 Fender PB551 Boxer Bass, which is in the very capable hands of forum member Thunderbird for a set-up. The strings taken off a a set of 4 string labella flats, which look as though they are hardly used, very clean and no fret dents or marks etc. I cannot tell you what gauge they are, but I would say well worth the investment plenty of wear left in them.
5.
I think I'd have to agree with you in this case, though under different circumstances I'd have returned the goods.
Agreed.
6. Not only is the seller not entering into conversation but the PayPal invoice he gave didn't have a complete address and a Google search didn't turn up the company or address. The mobile he gave no longer is contactable I suspect I am blocked. He isn't responding to emails, and as far as PayPal are concerned the case is closed. I feel I've gone above and beyond trying.
7.
I recently posted in the general section regarding a Mike Dirnt Bass I bought with a badly warped unusable neck. I am now going to sell the parts off of it. Precision 51 Slab Style Body, came off of what was advertised as a Fender Mike Dirnt and this may or may or may not be a body from one, but will sell on the basis of unbranded. Bass comes without pick ups and without bridge. I will include tone and volume pot with wiring loom, tone and volume metal facia plate an the scratch plate that has a big split in. The body has a few chips and scratch on reverse, but would make a good road worn project. Price £49.
