  1. Some of the best lines in the world are simple and just delivered well. And if you can do that then all listeners and musicians and virtuosos will applaud you. That's the joy of it, it doesn't matter how good you are you can still do something epic.
  2. Aye, that was great, have to do that again.
  3. No, I didn't get them with the bass, the previous owner modded it and I think he sold the original pickups on here.
  4. "Shortage of bassists in Aberdeen after they were all press-ganged into working on a galleon....." Apparently the kings shilling was found in the bottom of a few glasses of craft beer, rhtyhm orientared guys work well with oars so it seems.
  5. In principle yes, I work shifts mind, but it's a nice idea.
  6. Fit like loon, aye there's a few of us aboot, up here so yer not on yer own.🙂
  7. I bought this off a good friend of mine and I've had it for a couple of years. It's a fatastic bass and comes with a lovely hard case. I can post in the UK insured for about 20 quid. 8. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I seem to remember that the natural finish came with either an ash or swamp ash body rather than alder, which is used on the coloured Elites. I used to have one in champagne, great basses, glwts.
  9. Lovely combined delay and reverb pedal. Any questions, just ask. Cheers

  10. As new condition, light home use only, fantastic bit of kit. This doesn't have the extra lights on it (as the latest version dopes) apart from the main one, personally I prefer this and why I got rid of my Empress, I found the lights distracting. Any questions just ask.

  13. Bought this from Bass Direct last year, it's lovely but it'll never leave the house, and I have other projects I want to fund, so here it is. Built in 2022, setup/action is lovely as you would expect, its great to play and sounds awesome. It's lightly reliced, has that lovely cracking effect in the paint. I have all the case candy and supporting documentation as pictured. You're welcome to come and try it out, but I'm a bit far north for many people, I can do a whatsaap call and demo it, answer any questions.
  14. Hi guys, I wanted to lean on your consummate experience, I'm playing a lot of guitar these days and looking to get my gigging rig sorted out. I've been using a Reidmar 250 (which i love tonally both on bass and guitar), and it's plenty loud enough for now. I've toyed with getting a dedicated guitar head, I'm wondering if I really need to as the Reidmar is freaking awesome and I use a Quad Cortex which has great amp sims onboard. I love the reidmar, it's got the best amp EQ I've ever used, it's just the sound I want. Now I have a 1x12 EBS classic cab, and I mean it's OK, I'm not sure whats going to happen when I really start pushing it, plus it's sligtly leaning towards the vintage side, which is fine but I'm looking for a slightly sharper sound. I'm wondering what bass cabs would do this well, I'll be playing punk rock, classic rock and metal. And on my bass the same, as well as funk. I thought a Barefaced 2 x 10 or 2 x 12 might work well, but you guys always have great suggestions, so I'd like to hear your thoughts. Something that doesn't weigh a f*king ton would be nice. 'One amp to rule them all, one amp to find them, One amp to bring them all, and in the darkness bind them.....' 😈
  15. This is a NEW bass, I've bought 2 basses off Matt and they've been outstanding. Buy with confidence, seriously, guy sould have his own shop, outstanding standards.
