The Short Scale Bass Appreciation Society!

Have got one of these on the way now, hoping this sorts out my back issues when gigging! -
The best wireless available! A very very reluctant sale but have been suddenly made redundant by my work before Christmas so needs must, back to cables I go! Priced to sell With original box and paperwork, I'm sure I can find the power supply also but likely you will be using a pedalboard power supply anyway as the original PSU is very bulky and long. The transmitter has some minor scratches on and is missing the little metal clip but these can be replaced for a couple of quid if that. The Receiver has velcro on the back but this can be removed if requested. Comes additionally with; Right angled 90cm Silent Neutrick cable (Original straight one included also) worth around £30 Levys leather wireless pouch worth around £20 USB C cable for charging Offers welcome

20ft Ernie ball coily cable, have had it for years but is just used now as a backup for if my wireless ever goes down.

i have tried the pedal again with a 9V battery and the power seems to stay on, but still sound cutting out which I think it from the input jack
-
I think it does seem to be the power jack causing the issues
-
I'm based up north but don't mind posting it off somewhere to be fixed.
-
I managed to score a Nobels ODR-B on ebay for a good price considering what they go for now. Unfortunately the pedal doesn't seem to work properly, when touched it will lose power or the sound will cut out completely, even when off so affects the rest of the pedalboard. I did contact the seller and he did send a partial refund which was nice of him! I would love to get this pedal sorted out as when it does work it sounds great. Does anyone know of any places to get this fixed? Likely just simple soldering or jack replacements but i can do neither.

just seems a slightly underwhelming update to me, same size and weight, no DI out, no speakon combo outputs. Think i'll be sticking with the terror bass for now
-
Still no DI out though?
-
Slowly building a pedalboard back together again! Just wanting to add a few drives/fuzzes and an octave maybe a chorus
-
The Orange 410 is one of the best cabs i've owned and sounds great with the Terror Bass, so I imagine it would sound great with the AD200B. As others have said though they are very heavy! I bought a dolly for mine so at least I can wheel it around when needed.
-
I have been using the HX Stomp for most of this year and have really loved using it! There are a couple for sale on here (including mine) for decent prices. Only reason i'm selling mine is due to having the strong urge to build a big pedalboard again
-
Putting the pitchfork before the dirt will just allow it to track better as it'll only be getting a clean compressed signal, instead of a distorted one which it won't track as well. The mobius and delay would really depend what you use them for but they'd probably be fine either way.
-
I would also consider looking at your pedal order and EQ settings first, if i were using that setup I would be going; Compressor, Pitchfork, AfterShock, EQ, Mobius, Nemisis For the EQ I would experiment with your settings a bit more as your current settings aren't ideal for punch. As for a DI, completely depends on which one you choose as they have different uses. A plain DI does nothing but send a balanced signal to FOH/desk where as something like a sansamp adds a lot more flavour and utility.
-
Of all the preamps I've tried out now, the Sansamp VTDI is definitely the best one I've used. Never been a huge fan of the normal bass driver sansamp but the VT is a lot more useful.

For sale is my HX stomp with it's original box/packaging and manuals. It does have velcro on the back from being on my board but I find myself not using many effects now so this is overkill for me. It doesn't come with the original power supply (which are awful anyway) but I will include the voltage doubler cable so you can use it with your pedalboard power supply! Bought new from Andertons earlier this year and used for a handful of shows I will send it as is as there are 2 of the Ian Martin Alison packs loaded into this, so will not factory reset unless you would prefer that. Happy to post for additional cost or collection from Grimsby May be interested in some offers/trades for other pedals!

Its not a light cab by any means but I've managed to get it in and out of the car by myself so far somehow
-
The EQ is definitely something to get used to on the Terror Bass, I believe flat is bass on 0 Mids on full and treble on 0. I still love the Ampeg a lot and I am very tempted to hang onto it, but i could put the money into something else that I'd use more I think.
-
Sold my Ampeg cab today and the fella came to try it out equipped with a Sandberg California II VS4 I believe it was and it sounded incredible. Never seen or heard one in person before and now I'm currently trying to find one to order, had a play on the one today and i'm completely sold!
-
For most of my gigs I do now I am ampless currently using a HX stomp but thinking of switching that out for something else. When I do use an amp for my original band though it will be my new setup Orange 4x10 with a terror bass.
