18. Thanks Bigsmoke, It probably is trans teal, I never researched it at all. Was my first "proper" bass and I just really wanted a Stingray back then any colour would do. My small local shop which never had much stock happened to have this one in and I saved like crazy over summer to buy it!
19. It's with a heavy heart I put this up for sale but since I exclusively play 5 and 6 strings now, this old faithful bass o mine never gets used anymore. I bought it late 2002 when I went to university to study music and it has been played and used a hell of a lot and is worn, discoloured and a bit dirty in places. Still plays and sounds great though, nice stable neck and good action. It was my only bass up until 2 years ago when I got a 5 string and since then it's sat on the rack and not played since. I will clean it up before it sells. Comes with the original hard case. Not interested in trades or offers really if I'm honest and would prefer you to try before you buy, I've tried to take pictures of all the dings but they don't show too well. The missing lacquer under the neck pocket/cutaway area was a common thing for this year so I have heard, it bubbled and lifted away about 10 years ago. (I've posted this for a chap in my band, PM me and I'll forward contact details. cheers) Located south Manchester Approximately 8 years old but hasn't been used for the last 6 years and is in perfect working order and good condition. I am selling it because I also have the wide neck version and don't need both. You have to look hard for any wear and tear but there are two areas on the top side of the body where there are compression marks from a knock (see photograph - one under your chin and one under your right shoulder as you play it), and two tiny (1mm) scratches on the bottom edge of the body. I've restrung it ready for sale with a set of D'Addario Pro Arte Strings.
