1. It pains me to do this but I can't justify two uprights being a poor student and all. This is a Westbury fully carved upright 3/4 with ebony fingerboard. It had 500 quids worth of set-up done in August and new strings so it really wants for nothing and plays fantastic. There are two pick-ups installed which will be included. The Piezo works great, the Shadow pick-up must have a damaged wire as it buzzes but the preamp still works. I'm looking for £1400 Based in the Northwest, Bolton. Thanks Paul
2. I believe it's 17mm, feels spacious enough under the hands but I do have hobbit hands so not much does really
3. Oops! I was supposed to be buying a hiking coat. Couldn't find much info online so I figured I'd just buy the damn thing because I was after a 6 and these look so good! I was hesitant because I've not had much luck with Ibanez in the past but the quality is top notch, playability is great and it sounds pure amazeballs (down with the kids). Well pleased, if anyone is thinking about one, don't think, just do it.
4. TheGreek, do you hunt for GenzBenz for sale ads so you can add a far too cheap comment?
5. Hi, is this still available and would you be willing to post? Cheers

7. I put EMG J active pickups in mine and replaced the bridge with a more substantial Gotoh. Really made it much more in your face and punchy. Great basses for the money
8. Well, I'm excited. I love my RH450 and rs210 and 112's but I've always been a 15" speaker kind of guy! Looking forward to test driving some of these http://www.tcelectronic.com/rs115/
9. Bass direct is a 6 hour round trip for me, I'm up north near Preston. I'll have to just keep watching videos and make a guess. I can always sell one on if it's not what I'm looking for I suppose. Cheers for the input
10. Ahh crap, this could get expensive! I will probably go for the B7K then as I use a way huge pork loin for the warmish drive tones
11. Hi peeps, I'm wondering if any owners of these pedals could throw me some info please. I mainly play in function bands but sometimes I do the odd originals thing for a while in which case the pedals are perfect. I'm after a DI pedal that doesn't scoop mids and can nail the warm vintage sound for the usual pop funk and soul covers. I saw a video on the old youtube using the B7K as a clean preamp/DI and it sounded really good. Can the vintage Deluxe do the fat warm almost clean DI role also? Cheers doodz Paul
12. NOW SOLD, THANKS STAGG EUB for sale, I bought it to begin the journey of learning double bass but is no longer required as I have bought an acoustic double bass and require money for strings + setup. Good condition, everything working as it should apart from a touch of that legendary STAGG end pin rattle (I played it in the stand where it doesn't rattle so never bothered to have it corrected) The bass will come with the STAGG EUB stand, good condition helicore strings and gig bag. There is a very small nick in the fingerboard which has been filled and doesn't affect playability at all. The stand has a snapped plastic bolt handle but again it isn't an issue. These are shown in the images that follow. I've included a sound clip which is the bass plugged straight into pc. No pre amps or production etc, just a smidge of compression. Link for audio via dropbox. https://www.dropbox....20demo.wav?dl=0 Item is located in Bolton BL2 area, I have nothing to safely pack it in to post so collection would be ideal.
13. Has anyone had the issue when playing the Stagg EUB that when you pluck the A string and come to rest on the E string the boom or bang of the finger coming to rest on the E string is louder than the damn note on the A? Doesn't happen on any other string apart from plucking A. Is there anyway to solve this? Cheers
14. No ta I've replaced with another rig and have no need for more amps. Thanks
15. Hi for sale here is my Ampeg Pf500 +115 & 210. I paid £1160 for this setup last summer. Looking for £**** *update* The 115 Has been sold, just the 210 and pf500 left. Will let the pair go for £350 I've had this 9 months from new but I've replaced with a small TC rig as it's too much for what I require. I ended up only gigging with the 115 and leaving the 210 at home. Couple of small chips on the cabs but nothing really bad. No covers but has been well looked after as the pictures show. All 8 wheels are included. Wouldn't fancy shipping this anywhere as I have nothing to wrap and protect it all in. I'm based in Bolton in the N/W, open to collection, meeting halfway etc. Would rather not sell as seperates. Cheers Paul
16. I sent a Pm. Cash waiting and I can collect this weekend
