2.
Never found them gloomy at all, although I can see why you'd say that they were. To me, they're the creators of the best music I have ever heard.
Don't get me wrong, I don't find them gloomy at all but their music has a beautiful melancholia that I like.
 3.
Nice nice nice. You a Boards of Canada fan by any chance?
Yes. They are so melencolic.

 5. I worked in a custom builders shop for a few years and that refin is on par with what we use to do. Except that you really should use an extractor fan and 3M masks are useless. Brilliant stuff.
 6. I really like his groove based playing.
 7.
Wey heyyyyyy - sloppy seconds!
Terri, he will probably need chicken soup, warm towels and a lot of care. Tramodol will help with the shakes.
 8. Had the pleasure of seeing Autechre, at the N.I.A. Centre in Manchester, ended up in the dressing rooms, smoking with an American, black funk band who were supporting. Can anyone help me out in remembering who they could have been?
 9.
can't touch this..
Fantastic.

 12.
Last person to do that to my rig is sleeping it off under my patio!
Last time that happened to me was last year at a gig in Llandudno. My guitist at the time saw it and went over to have a "word". He is 6'6" and built like a quaterback. It was funny to see a group of about 6 grown men move away from the right of the stage.
 13.
Golly! That's like being offered a choice from the world's biggest box of chocolates.
I like the hard, nutty ones but then again, I'm a sucker for a soft centre.
 14.
Christina Hendricks? I thought it was Cate Blanchett. Eye test required. As for this 'Elite Clique' - are there benefits? Like an executive lounge and free limo pick-up?
Yes. You get to choose any member to be your "kept boy" for one week each year.
 15. f*** 'em. Try your best to avoid any taxes.
 16.
I like the bass line on Old Brown Shoe but it was played by Harrison on a Fender Bass VI I do believe and not McCartney.
Hehe, this lad knows his stuff.
 17.
Lennon was all about drugs & Yoko, Starr wasn't really interested, Harrison wanted to be somewhere else. It was Macca who wanted Abbey Road to be the real 'farewell' album, and who drove the project forward. As with Sgt Pepper, this was very much Macca's studio. He stayed late (with George Martin) after each session, long after the others had left. It's hardly surprising thet the final cut was (relatively) bass-heavy. I, for one, am not complaining.
18.
DO IT STEVE! Take a hit for team.
This cab, paired with the Trace AH250 on here, arrrrrggggghhhhhh!!!!!, it's doin' me swede in la.
 19.
I got my first Thumb bass a few years ago off ebay because I always fancied one. I'd never even seen one (in the flesh) before let alone played one and not long after buying it got myself an SS1. I gigged these basses lots but after some time I sold them and TBH I cannot think why. So After a couple of years of gigging various other basses I'm back on the Warwicks with this pair.
Gorgeous basses.
