  1. ...that is an unfortunate side-effect common to all Trace Amplification.
  2. Does it come in other colours...Olympic White-Goods?
  3. As someone who works in the construction industry, my considered opinion is that you'll be ok with a Trace combo, as its gravitational pull is exactly equal to that exerted by the world, so the concrete flooring slab will be sandwiched between them quite safely 🤣
  4. Yes, I think that sounds about right *attempts deadpan face*
  5. ps. I'm sure its not a trap...but whose amp is she going to use?
  6. Decoupage finish sounds interesting & different! What designs is she going for & how will you do it?

  20. My shoes are good for metal...
  21. Hi Julian, I'm not sure I qualify as a 'proper' bass player either (not in a band currently etc.)! But this is a great site for learning more from other people's experiences (not just in music). All the best!
  22. That looks absolutely gorgeous! Nice job!
  23. Buddy Guy - not modern, but still going strong as far as I know. Saw him live at the Bridgewater Hall Mcr a few years ago - was brilliant! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NU5xA6ty0a4
  24. Hi Daveox, I'm new to Basschat too. I've have a Yamaha BB434 since december last year & can confirm that it is exceptionally well-made, great sounding bass. I'm sure that you'll get lots of joy from of your 734! All the best! Hugh
