Hi guys,
I've been running the Darkglass Microtubes 900 v2 (Limited edition if that matters?) for a while now and gigged and rehearsed with no problems.
Yesterday I turned it on and it had developed what I can only describe as a constant 'static' noise, even when playing you can hear this in the background. I initially thought it was a cabling issue on a new pedalboard setup but it's there when plugged direct. I was playing through headphones so suspected those. They tested fine with another device so ruled that out. I don't have an interface to test the DI out and I haven't had an opportunity to test it with a cab as that's at our guitarist's house right now.
I'm using the usual power socket I use, tried direct instead of with an extension, tried a different socket but it's still there so I don't think it's bad power all of a sudden. No inverters, neon lights etc that could be giving off interference. It's usually pretty silent even with drive in venues I know have terrible stage power that causes our guitarist's amp to crap out.
Has anyone experienced this?
