I played precision’s first for a long time and then got hooked on jazzes for many years, I’m now back to precision’s for 2 reasons, 1 , i like the simplicity and 2 , I really like the sound, if I’m after a smoother deeper sound I use the jazzes, I think it’s good to have both, I don’t have much experience with squire , maybe try some US ones and see what you think

Thanks Rich and itu 🙏, I have so many but I’m going to pick 3 off the top of my head which are different in their own ways , one from Flabba Holt with Johnny osbourne, from 3.25 you can hear the Bassline more isolated, the timing ,note lengths and space changes are so good and one from Robbie Shakespeare from one of the later albums Love Restart, the whole album is really good I would recommend it, some really nice Basslines and one from Clinton fearon who was in the gladiators and is a good bass player himself , Mato Cirade a reggae bass player from France plays for him now , this is a good one to play and not quite as easy as it might look, I could go on and on 😁, hope you enjoy

They are really good and quite a few different amps and cabs and pedals if you want to choose from in the app, it charges through usb too

I’ve got hundreds of great reggae basslines but most here don’t like reggae so I’m going to go with one that I think makes the song

I would recommend the Nux too, it’s what I use, really great bit of kit but you would need wired headphones which is not really a big deal, play along silently with anything on your phone or iPad, there’s a thread here if you want to read up a bit more

Was listening to some Leroy sibbles today and sweet talking came up and another version by cultural Roots , great Basslines on both and
