The rooms booked from 1pm but we actually have an extra half an hour before to set up so I'd say turn up at around one

Brilliant, I have an 8 metre high polystyrene Stonehenge I found round the back of Hammy Odeon once.
Great! And they called those things immovable!

Any PA gear requests? Should have a bass rig and a simple PA rig from @AlphaPro
Anyone want to give a talk?

@KevB Should have a PA rig on the day from alpha pro. Looks like a pretty good looking midi controller so it would be fun to see

Feel free to come, @MoJoKe
We’ll have sessions of people showing off and giving talks about bass related bits so let me know if you’d like your name down for that.

Sorry to interrupt the hilarity you cheeky scamps but can I just ask @jebroad is this Bash confirmed for certain, as in hall booked etc.? Only checking because I want to book a hotel for the evening before so I don't have to do a round trip on the day.
The halls all booked but there was an incident there recently with people smashing a window so there is the chance of changes in the people who run it.
The booking form, deposit and goodwill deposit have been giving to the committee so there shouldn't be an issue.
There's a big meeting in the next week or two so maybe hold fire for now and as soon I can give the 100%, I will.

There's plenty of room, if you're thinking of bringing gear.

Unfortunately, I don't think I can make it.
I've got a cycling event in the morning of the bash but have fun and I hope to see you guys next year.

I have checked it out, was thinking about it but I'm afraid I'm working that day. Just after a holiday too so I can't book it off.
Would of loved to go
Maybe next year...

Cort's Jeff Berlin signature bass paired with any mark bass amp should sound pretty close.

Beautiful bass. Looks like solid gold.

Also, from a quick look at his posts, he's looking for a bassist in London. Using 1/500; there should be 16,272 bassists that can help out.

It's said that 1 in 500 people actively play bass. Let's say; 5 billion people can afford a bass and learn bass. Divide that by 500 and you have 10 million bassists for your musical endeavour.
Maybe invest in a small country for your rehearsal space.
