  1. I had one a long time ago was an excellent amp.
  2. Yeah they look great and so cheap!
  3. Looks great but don't need the cab thanks for letting me know!
  4. I'd say just a di really
  5. Thanks for the info!
  6. Thanks much appreciated!
  7. It hasn’t arrived yet so I don’t have a manual but I’ll definitely check that when it arrives, thanks for the top tip!
  8. Just bought the Hotone, currently £50 in Andertons I mean a no brainer. Can it be used without a speaker as a headphone amp?
  9. Anyone tried the Ampeg Micro VR?
  10. Loads of bloody options .... I'm going to end up buying more than one thing at this rate.
  11. Wow very cool, I had one of those PJBs
  12. I saw these and they looked great but will it be ok to run into an old style barefaced midget? I mean £70!
  13. Look Yeah I also like the look of this !
  14. No problem at all the Elf looks great and also the warwick gnome is is like so cheap and I noticed a Valeton which Is ridiculously inexpensive but only 20watts.
  15. I think just so I can throw down an idea. I mean I can do that at the moment but it's a bit more involved, though I'm potentially being lazy. Essentially I'm buying a small amp I don't need but I need justification for another purchase!
  16. I’ve got one of these! Or my daughter has, it’s great but I was really after a head only.
  17. I go straight to the desk live but I’m thinking of buying a wee amp head to pair with my remaining Bareface cab. Just for messing about in the house really but a bonus would be if it gave me options for recording. So a DI perhaps? I like the look of the Ampeg PF20T but it’s a wee bit pricey for something that may not get a lot of use. Any recommendations would be appreciated!
  18. I ended up spending a wee bit of time with the Minitaur, loaded up the software for the Moog and the 12 Step. Haven’t looked at it for ages and almost lost my mind but now it’s all working great. So the Toro is on hold ….. for now 😀
  19. If Ed doesn’t take it I can pop round tomorrow! I know where you are as I’ve got your old Mustang!
  20. Bringing my own thread back from the dead! I forgot I’d found a solution for this or @EBS_freak did 😁, Yankee PS-M12 Power Supply…. Now sold unfortunately! After a layoff the Moog is back but on a board of it’s own, I’m looking for a power supply just for the Moog ideally with a USB to power the controller KMS 12 Step and having completely forgot about this thread I’ve been scouring the internet looking for options. I eventually just thought I’ll stick an extension strip (with usb for the 12 step) under the board. But the Moog Minitaur power supply is too big to fit with the extension under the board. So I’m looking for a power supply that supplies 12 volts at 1200ma. I could buy a Yankee but £179 or try the chap from Cioks advice and try 600 ma or rubber feet as the low tech option. I found the email from Poul at Cioks The manual states 7 Watts which corresponds to 583mA. You'll need to have 600mA available for this unit. DC5, DC8, DC10, AC10, PF2 and the CIOKOLATE are the options and you'll need the #8800 parallel adapter flex and two 300mA or two 400mA outlets at 12V to power this unit.
