  1. Not a great deal of bass related info on the pedals … lots of organ tho! I basically took a punt but very happy.
  2. Just a wee update! Greg from Lounsberry posted my pedal immediately after ordering but the person in the US Post Office thought Scotland was in Australia (!!!!) so my pedal was off to the land down under! I could track it and everything. So Lounsberry posted me another pedal which has just arrived and much to my surprise and as an apology Greg include an Organ Grinder Pedal and a T Shirt. Completely unnecessary as no apology was needed but I’m very grateful for the pedals! Briefly tried both pedals and they both sound great, I can see one as an always on pedal and the other as an overdrive. The pedals are designed to add life to digital setups, I use a Helix and I’m very happy with it but hope this adds a bit of vibrancy. Can’t praise Lounsberry enough for customer service. Greg is a real gent and the pedals are quality.
  3. Been on the look out for a tubey overdrive to add a bit of analogue warmth to my tone and was chatting to Greg at Lounsberry Pedals and took a punt on the Mo Bass. Lounsberry are big in the world of Hammond organs and keys. My keyboard player is an endorsee and raves about them but I didn’t realise they also had some some bass pedals. Anyway the pedal will hopefully be winging its way from the states soon as they aren’t available in the uk yet. Quite keen to try it! Merry Xmas me! https://bassmagazine.com/.amp/gear/lounsberry-pedals-announces-the-new-mo-bass-pedal
  4. I was wondering if anyone knew of any knobs that fit an Audere Preamp. I read John East knobs do. Looking for a black set!
  5. I was impressed by the build quality but haven’t used it yet!
  6. I should have posted in this thread! Does anyone know of a UK company that does reshelling? I had a set of UE Triple Fi 10s reshelled with custom moulds by Inearz about 5 years ago but one side is now faulty. I have a spare set and was looking to get them reshelled. Inearz did a great job but they are in Florida and prices have shot up!
  7. Hi does anyone know of a company in the UK that reshells earphones with custom moulds? I had a pair reshelled by Inearz in Florida but I’d rather go localish.
  8. I heard some clips and it sounds great. Hopefully here in a day or so!
  9. Are they something to do with Valeton? I had a Dapper and it was great.

    Cheap Octave

I very sparingly use octave and have on original OC-2 and an Octamizer but in an ever increasing urge to cram more stuff on my mini board I’ve bought one of these Sonicake Octavers, £25! How good or bad can it be https://www.sonicake.com/products/octave
  11. Anyone tried one of these? I’m quite embarrassed to say I bought one on a deal a while back and have yet to take it out of the box! Voiced for guitar and bass(?). I know people rate some of their drive pedals. https://ashdownmusic.com/products/pro-fx-retro-drive
  12. Looking to trade this mint 2004 4003FL, discontinued and very rare. My Stingray is back in the fold for fretless duties and it's a shame this isn't getting the love. I'm looking for a high end, lightweight 5 string, Xotic, Sadowsky, I've heard the Stingray 5 Special is pretty lightweight. This is a great bass, looks and plays fantastic. Not really looking to sell though!
  13. Just bought a Hipshot Bass Xtender from Jon. Lovely bloke and a pleasure to deal with!
  14. No way that's awful, I've returned stuff to Aliexpress before and it was all straightforward so hopefully will be ok. The shop I bought the wireless units from has disappeared and says if tracking does not update I can open a dispute in 15 days! I reckon they hope you just lose interest but it's just a pain in the derrière!
  15. I've generally had a good experience with Aliexpress but I reckon I've been scammed this time. Got to wait 15 days to raise a dispute!
  16. I have a Chord IEM16, cheap as chips but ok for my needs, however one receiver is occasionally really noisy, like a big mad white noise type noisy and the other the headphone socket is dodgy so the jack is loose and can be pulled out by my moving! Between them they make one decent receiver. Any one have any ideas how to remedy my woes!
  17. Going to open a dispute if I don’t get a tracking update!
  18. They look like they may never turn up!
  19. Yes that looks like it! Fair enough re the multiple transmitters, no big deal to take the transmitter out when switching basses and I could use the other set for my upright.
  20. I have to be honest, I haven't received them yet. Bought them from Aliexpress so who nows what will arrive! But they definitely say 5.8 ghz but are the wooden look ones which appear to be an older model. Channel selection would be ideal tho.
  21. I bought a couple of sets of these, just too cheap to resist. If anyone has used them can you use two transmitters and one receiver? So you can switch basses without removing the unit. Also I don't think you can't specify the channel so if you were using two full units do you just turn one receiver/transmitter on, it makes it's connection and then do they same with the next? Cheers S
  22. Really helpful thanks!
  23. Just so I understand, for live using IEMs you're not actually using the Backbeat's headphone out, it's the 'vibration' from the unit that makes the difference not the actual audio? Sorry for being thick!
  24. I’m clearly a bit late to the party with this but just so I’m clear. Does the bass and the IEM signal go into the Backbeat (separate inputs?) and then an output to headphones and one to the amp or PA? I should just look at their website!
