£70 posted PRICE DROP £60 Bought for an analogue board that didn't happen! Works great and has extra labels! Here is the blurb from Mooer Mooer Product Overview With the Mooer L6, controlling your pedals has never been so easy and convenient. The L6 is a programmable 6 channel loop controller. After connecting your pedals to the 6 true bypass loops, the L6 provides a control hub right at the front of your pedalboard which can be operated in 2 different ways. In preset mode, any combination of multiple loops can be instantaneously engaged or disengaged at the touch of a single footswitch, without the need to tap dance all over your pedalboard. In this mode the Loop Controller has 6 banks, with 6 presets in each bank, giving a total of 36 possible preset pedal combinations available. In Live mode the L6 operates in a more traditional manor. Each loop has its own dedicated footswitch which simply engages and disengages it's respective loop. This is perfect for the more old school musicians who simply want their pedals footswitches conveniently relocated for easy access. Each loop has a backlit display panel which can be written on or can take the colored stickers provided and makes it easy to see at a glance which loops are engaged and disengaged.

£45 posted Bought this a while ago on a whim, it's a clone of a Simplifier. Hardly used it but it's great, I just have lots of these types of things! The rumour was the original was being built and the factories were running dual production lines hence how good a copy it is. Not sure what to believe other than getting stuff made in China is risky! But I think it's very well made and does exactly what it's meant to do! It sounds like an ampeg, very clever! No box or manual but the manual for the Simplifier covers the LY-ROCK 😬!

The amp sounds immense.

Maybe, I’m actually a bit gutted as I REALLY like it. But the hum is too much. I’ve tried it in every socket in my house. I’ve got some new speakon cables coming out today. I’ll try another cab when I get a chance to go to the studio, which should eliminate mains hum and an issue with the cab. The only other amp I have at home is the little Hotone and it is completely quiet.
-
Thanks @Bolo that's really useful, I've emailed Ashdown to ask if a bit of hum is normal!

Clarky bought a tuner pedal from me and it was a pleasure, he's a gent!

Bought a Cali compressor off Peter, needless to say everything went well and it was an excellent experience and he is a splendid guy!

Got to give a shoutout to Giggear, bought an amp yesterday afternoon and it arrived today, excellent price as well, never heard of the shop before, great service.
-
Well new one arrived and there is a slight hum but I kind of expect that from a valve amp but much quieter. Also, I don't know if this is significant, but the first one I had, I had to turn the volume down on my old Stingray to get a clean tone now volume up full it's clean, as in valve type clean but not overdriven.

Tried a different power source, cable etc and a different amp and the speaker is matched, hum only appeared after a day. Amp is heading back!

Hi I just bought an Ashdown CTM 15 and it's great but has developed a hum when plugged into a speaker. I just noticed it there, I take it a hum is not normal. Long time since I had anything with valves! Cheers S

Sounded great through my old Barefaced compact. Passive tone controls are a bit counterintuitive to me (if anyone can explain them, like what is flat! I’d be grateful!) but I think it’s a great wee thing.

Just got this and had a blast through headphones for 10 minutes. First thoughts are built like a tank and it sounds great, very warm but I had turn the volume down on my stingray to get a clean tone, so will need to spend a bit of time sussing it out. Hopefully get a chance to try it through speakers tonight. But quite excited by it!

Hotone is a great head amp I’m just running into my powered monitors at the moment …. Really good.
-
Tried the Ashdown thought it was tremendous but too loud. This will just be sitting in the studio for recording. Sounded great tho and looked great.
-
Probably going to buy it.

Hi folks just wondered if anyone had opinions on this amp? Would only be for recording and will sit in our studio. I’m looking for something that can do cleanish but capable of an organic sounding overdrive (no gain knob so does it have to get loud to start breaking up?). One being sold locally which I’m interested in. Just for info I was looking at the new CTM 15 and the Ampeg PFT 20. (Gone from 0 amps to potentially 3 in the last two weeks 🥺!)

Started using a new luthier recently and he takes a while but is really great! Old Stingray looking and sounding brilliant.

The Poly Capo I believe, and it was a semitone below the low B so probably just a bit too low!

Very informative replies to this, thanks for the input!

Thanks, I thought the Elf looked great but I ended up picking up out a 2nd hand GK MB200 cheap, which is probably huge in comparison to the elf 😀

Thanks for the info! As I say it’s kind of academic as I’ve just modified what play so there is no need to detune but it was just out of curiosity!
