  1. Looks like a great deal to me.
  2. I like the wood, not so keen on the handbrake. The Andertons videos are fine as a bit of fun. A bit annoying if you want serious content though.
  3. Glad you got the issue resolved anyway. FWIW, I've played some stunning Cort made guitars.
  4. What a pain! I only order small items from Thomann, but was tempted to try a bass. Think I'll only shop there in person, when I can.
  5. I started to learn guitar during lockdown, using the Fender online lessons. I love it and to be honest, my basses aren't getting enough love at the moment. I would learn on an electric given the hand issues. A well setup one will also help on the finger pain / difficultly fretting bar chords. Enjoy!
  6. Also check the neck relief as well as the bridge saddles height. It's hard to say, without pictures. Was it ok before the strip down?
  7. An award winning sE22000A Condenser Microphone with case and accesories as pictured. It was used for a home recording project which has now finished. I did notice a slight hum when recording. This may or may not have been down to the home recording setup, but I will mention for full disclosure. EDIT: Found the hum, from my USB interface. Replaced with a new Scarlett, it's perfect. Price is sent within the UK.
  8. I use the VLE with the DI for recording. I could live without it, but it's effective and quick to dial in.
  9. Wilkinson WJB AlNiCo Bass Pickup (Bridge) plus double potentiometer CTS EP4586 Concentric Pot 500K/500K A + BUTTON Knob CHROME. All unused as I sold my P bass before the planned upgrade. Good quality kit, save on the new price. £30 sent or picked up from East London. EDIT: £25 now Cheers.
  10. Have a look at the free editor for effects for these models: G5n, G3Xn, G3n, B3n, G1on, G1Xon, B1on, B1Xon, MS-50g, MS-60b, MS-70CDR. Gave my unit a 2nd wind and I was also able to put my favourite patches from the MS50G on there too. https://www.tonelib.net/tonelib-zoom.html
  11. Wow, never knew these existed. I love my Ray and also the Jazz on the neck. Stunning.
  12. Two excellent quality OBBM speaker cables. Both 1m long, perfect for a stack. Cable is stamped 2 x 1m 4mm klotz twinax . 1/4" jacks £20 sent to the UK. Thanks
  13. I have a Zoom MS60B which I really like for modulation, delay, reverb and compression. Decent pedal and a good starting point
  14. Hi Mark, Many thanks for the reply and apologies for the very late response. I did purchase a 220v 80VA transformer which was fitted. I did some further troubleshooting as the output was very low / noisy. I replaced one of the transistors that tested faulty, but that's as far as I got. It really needs someone with more expertise and a 'scope to diagnose further. If anyone around the London or Bucks / Beds area fancies looking at a project, that would be fantastic. Cheers.
  15. Hi Chaps, I have an old TR25 solid state amp that I was given, not currently working. I believe it needs a new transformer at the very least, so starting from there. Can anyone help, as my electronics knowledge is pretty patchy and out of date! I was thinking of using a 100VA or 160VA 240v 18v toroidal transformer, which has two 18v outputs on the secondary, so I would run them in series to get the 36v AC the rectifier needs. Or would I need a 40v output given the rectifier losses? Rickenbacker tech support have not been helpful. There is a circuit diagram here, if anyone could spare the time and sanity check this for me. http://www.rickenbacker.com/pdfs/19341.pdf Thanks, Alan.
  16. I found a wooden homemade case to go with it. Shipped with the case for £50, or collected from London or Milton Keynes. Cheers.
  17. An 80's P bass copy, probably Asian. Plays well, newish Ernie ball strings and setup. A few sharp frets and a couple of marks. Never gigged. Sounds lovely and I have really enjoyed playing it. £50, pick up from East London. Thanks!
