1988 was his first platinum album but I can’t remember if I saw Kip in Alice Cooper during that decade. I saw Alice Cooper twice in the 80s with Kane Roberts on guitar and I think it was Kip on bass but can’t remember! I am the great cornholio, I need TP for my bung hole!
I will look into that story but Kip appears to be doing well in his career. Followed him for years with Winger and Alice Cooper. He also is a trained classical pianist who does a lot more than just rock music.
I thought the same with the nut. I remember watching lots of gigs in Edinburgh in the mid 80s & 90s, Warwicks were being used by bass players in a lot of the bands I saw and I recall thinking they were awful expensive at approx £1200. Getting this info from you guys makes me think that is a lot of money for a copy during those decades.
Have to say, I’m very interested in a 1024. I had a 424 of which did not work for me at all but the 1024, seems to be a different beast and more of a fit, for me.
