Swapped an old Garelli motorbike for a Kay EB0 copy in 1981, that was the worst guitar ever made. Think it had some fake leather on the pups ? Awful Moved on to Aria's, SB55 Special, SBR-60, SB-1000 (all the rage in the day) Changed to Musicmans, Stingray, Sabre. Then to Yamaha BB's (love them, bit of neck dive on my, will never sell it BB1100s) Now playing a Fender Stratocaster, Jaydee Supernatural, MM Stingray and a black Fender Precision '78' (JJ Burnel influence) Had plenty of cr*p in between, all sold on, thank god,,

To all the Rick fans, Is there a difference in neck widths ? Played one ages ago, sounded great but felt like a 3/4 bass. Is there a wide neck version ?

Got a Yamaha BB1100s and want to make it louder, evil etc,, its got the PJ config. Any suggestions ?

I'm using them EB slinkies now, seem ok, nothing special. Not as good as the the old Trace Eliot 40-60-80-100.

Have a trot down to Maplin with the diagram, get a soldering iron and have a go .. only looks like a few quids worth.

Thanks for that, you've confirmed some of my thoughts. I thought it was an early EB as well but wasn't sure because of the logo not having EB on it. I'll sleep on it. £750 seems a fair price though.

Did anyone see this Musicman Sabre that was on ebay ?
