    I bought this in June from another basschatter via ebay, played on it for a month then went back to my stingray. its been sitting in the corner ever since, it looks white in the pics but it's ivory with a tort scratch plate. comes with a Fender soft bag. A wire on one of the pots came loose so I had to replace it, apart from that it's in mint condition, no dints etc. I paid £280 for it so looking for £230 or will trade for something else ?

    That is depressing, got my BB1100s and Trace GP11 4x10 from Howard's shop. Maybe a budding young Howard will step up, gap in the market there now ..

    I had an Orange crush 20B and it wasn't very good. Not sure if it was broken/defective but it didn't like my Stingray. It seemed to have a volume issue, when you hit a string, there was a bit of a delay before the note sounded at the correct volume. I waved a soldering iron over the circuit board but it didn't make any difference. Sold it to a mate at work for £10, he plays a passive Aria through it and doesn't have this issue. Maybe they don't like active bass inputs ? In short, I wouldn't recommend buying one.

    Thanks for the replies Guys, I know what you mean Bloodaxe it feels like a big bass, the neck always felt a bit long for me. I've got an Aria SB Special from around the same time which suits me better.

    ahh, ... I always ran it through the PA and it sounded well good .. 10 yrs in the garage might have F**Ked the speakers ? it's cold up North.

    Just to see if anyone is interested really, I've got a very old GP11 4x10 combo that hasn't been used in years. Just fired it up and sounds crackly. Probably needs a bit of a look at. Will post pics if anyone requests. Its in Gateshead and would have to be picked up, doesn't fit im my car.

    Yeah, looks a bit bulky. I think my old head is in my parents garage, it's a guitar one with reverb on it. It stopped working about 10 years ago. If it's still there you can have it. Might be worth fixing ?

    I used H||H heads for a good few years, they sounded great.     Does anyone remember Blackie Lawless from WASP grumbling that he'd returned to the "Tool of Ignorance" from a brief spell at 6 string ? Our drummer always reminds me of the quote .. Bah
