It does work but it is quiet. I'll try and get some sound samples up at the weekend to show what I mean. Like I said, it could be a loose connection, wire popped off or something wrong with the actual speaker. I'm just really not sure but I'm not technical enough to start taking off covers and pulling speakers out as I'd panic !

It is cased in the original Gibson hard case which [/font][/color]shows wear from use but is still in great condition for a 39 year old case! It was made at the Kalamazoo Plant in USA on November 22nd, 1977 and was production number 122 (according to the serial number). The bass is in excellent condition and has always been stored in the case when not in use. The tuners are dulled from age but the bass is beautiful and a lovely fully working example. It has a maple body, fingerboard and neck. The Moog electronics are in full working order (bright mode, treble and bass boost, compression and expansion) It comes with installed Dunlop straplocks.and a strap. After many years of playing, I am selling most of my equipment due to no use. Here I am selling my MESA Powerhouse cabs. Amazing punchy tone and hard as nails! The 2x10 has a selectable 3-point crossover and horn attenuator. This setup allows you to optimize your setup for any room. The 1x15 has a problem with the speaker but this could just be a loose wire. It happened at a gig ages ago and to be honest, I just can't be bothered to take the grill off, speaker out and look into it. Both are in excellent condition and come with authentic MESA covers.
