1. Thanks mate. It is awesome but I am just not using it anymore. With the matching MESA cabs I'm selling it blows away anything IMHO

3. Beautiful! Are you interested in any of my sale items? MESA cabs, MESA 400+, Epi Explorer Bass or Gibson RD 1977
4. It does work but it is quiet. I'll try and get some sound samples up at the weekend to show what I mean. Like I said, it could be a loose connection, wire popped off or something wrong with the actual speaker. I'm just really not sure but I'm not technical enough to start taking off covers and pulling speakers out as I'd panic !
5. yep that is correct, it's a 34" scale set mahogany neck. Cosmo Valdemar, I'm in West Kingsdown.
6. Thanks mate, can always sort out postage to Wigan ......
7. After many years of playing, I am selling most of my equipment due to no use. Here I am selling my Gibson RD Artist 1977. It is cased in the original Gibson hard case which shows wear from use but is still in great condition for a 39 year old case! It was made at the Kalamazoo Plant in USA on November 22nd, 1977 and was production number 122 (according to the serial number). The bass is in excellent condition and has always been stored in the case when not in use. The tuners are dulled from age but the bass is beautiful and a lovely fully working example. It has a maple body, fingerboard and neck. The Moog electronics are in full working order (bright mode, treble and bass boost, compression and expansion) It comes with installed Dunlop straplocks.and a strap. Pick up from North West Kent area. Thanks!

Awesome head and amazing tone. I am sure you have read or heard about these amps and everything is true, it is amazing. It was serviced when I bought it in 2010 and I've done roughly 20 gigs with it in the last 5+ years. Great condition with just the usual gig wear. Always been housed in the rack case and never let me down. I've not even had to replace a fuse! It has 12 * Mesa 6L6GC-STR 427 and 4 * 12AX7 tubes [s]£850[/s] £800 including the case which is missing a handle but I have another flight case I will through into the deal too. Please note, the Rack Tuner is not included. Pick up from North West Kent area or can post for extra cost. Here is a video demo of the MESA 400. The difference between this and the one I am selling (the 400+) is that the fan speed is on a switch and the 400 has six 6550 power tubes while the 400+ has twelve 6L6 power tubes: https://www.youtube....h?v=0OzUTBAC9XE
9. After many years of playing, I am selling most of my equipment due to no use. Here I am selling my Epiphone Korina Explorer Bass. It is cased in a proper Epiphone Explorer Bass Case and has been well looked after and always stored in the case when not in use. Very good condition as you can see from the photos. Gold hardware, straplocks with strap included. I moved the straplock button to behind the neck which eliminates any neck dive associated with these style basses. Very comfortable to play, great tone and looks Rock God as hell!! Pick up from North West Kent area. Thanks!
10. After many years of playing, I am selling most of my equipment due to no use. Here I am selling my MESA Powerhouse cabs. Amazing punchy tone and hard as nails! The 2x10 has a selectable 3-point crossover and horn attenuator. This setup allows you to optimize your setup for any room. The 1x15 has a problem with the speaker but this could just be a loose wire. It happened at a gig ages ago and to be honest, I just can't be bothered to take the grill off, speaker out and look into it. Both are in excellent condition and come with authentic MESA covers. Mesa Boogie Powerhouse - 1x 15" bass cab with HF driver, 400W/8 ohms (includes castors and MESA cover) Mesa/Boogie PowerHouse - 2x10" bass cab with HF driver, 400W/8 ohms (includes MESA cover) £500 for the 2x10 £350 for the 1x15 (due to the speaker problem) or £700 for the pair. These retail at £750 and £850 each brand new. Pick up from North West Kent area. Thanks!
11. For trade I have a MESA Boogie Powerhouse 2x10 Bass Cab which comes with a cover. Great sounding and built like a tank! http://www.gak.co.uk/en/mesa-boogie-powerhouse-2x10/53059?gclid=CjwKEAiA58a1BRDw6Jan_PLapw8SJABJz-ZW71rpCZEv1QU4AxjiNbLBiM8KnW4DBVjhgbBqU43qFxoCG0jw_wcB
12. Hi Tina, Sorry for the loss of your Father. What are you looking to trade for (if anything)?
13. To be fair, I didn't replace the cable (really you shouldn't need to though!). All the toys came out of the pram and I sent it back . I bought a Sure wireless and it is fantastic.
14. I bought one and sent it back. It has 99 channels all of which produce a nasty electronic sound whenever you play a note. I've now bought a Shure PG14E T10 from Thomann ( PLEASE CLICK HERE) and it is the nuts. My advice, stay away from the Freebass. It's cheap rubbish from Ashdown and I am very disappointed.
15. Many apologies josh3184 that I got the wrong end of the stick and didn't take this as a joke, I'm a touchy b'stard at the moment! Steve, it's $800 all in for the case and the bass. Steve at BRG (the dealer who is taking care of this run) is a great guy to deal with and I am sure he would let you pay in batches. All you need is $250 to lay down as a deposit by the 15th March. The Basses are being produced this year with the first one coming out around June/July. It will then take a few months to get the others out. This will give you 5 or 6 months to save up!
16.
its a lovely finish but I can never imagine playing it onstage unless I had some sort of sweaty dank long hair and wear a tank top
It's a shame you feel you have to make comments like that to someone you have never met. Do you not think that someone could take offence to that? I don't but why should you take the rise out of someone for their choice of Guitar? I have not and will not make any comment about the type of person I think you are judging by what you play.
17. Ha ha! Yeah, about £600 plus shipping. They won't be making any more than ordered and I am very happy because I have my name down for the first one! So far there are 22 being made so this will be marked on the headstock (#1 of 22) and the 12th fret marker says "DOA 2009" on the fingerboard. If you are really interested, they will let you pay in installments but, you will have to pay for it in full before they ship. Dave at BRG (he is on the thread) is the guy to talk to.
18.
I've never liked Vs... but something about this one is really appealing. Did they release the pricing yet?
Yes, it's roughly $800 including a custom made hard case. I have the same pickups on my Dean TRML Bass and they rival my Gibson Thunderbird for thunderyness (if that is a word!). Dean are making USA made Basses this year, the prototype was displayed at the DOA 2009 show last weekend.
19. Hi guys and girls! The DOA 2009 Bass is nearly finished, they are taking orders up until 15th March 2009. Once this date passes they will not take anymore orders and the Basses will be produced. They are only making to order so as you can tell, this will be a limited edition. Picture below of the Prototype and also a link to the Dean thread where you can place your order if you want to. Thanks, Jim. 20.
A precautious bump....this never did sell in the end. Guess my price was a bit too high last time, but I'm starting a new project and need a cash injection (if you will). Theres some more pics here... http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=40914 Offers around £550 would be nice.
Argh!!! I want it but I haven't got the money Try and hold off selling for a couple of months!
21. Very nice, I like it a lot. I have one of these (or Ripper/Grabber) on my list to buy for the end of this year. It would be great if you could get some sound clips, any chance? Here are some sound clips of the Grabber: Pickup towards the neck, volume and tone control on 10. 22. Nice JTB, VERY nice! I know I can talk but, that 2*15 looks like it is the heaviest thing since heavy things were invented! I bet it sounded awesome though. Edward, the Probot album is superb isn't it?!
23. Get one! I bet is sounds great!
