1.
I'm seriously tempted to get a 1U rack mount version with 2 channels!
Sounds awesome! Straight into a poweramp too?
2. Here is my board. Pedaltrain Nano and from right to left: Korg Pitchblack Tuner --> BB Bass Pre Amp (clone) --> DHA VT1-EQ-Bass "custom" --> Aphex Bass Xciter. I then run into a TC Electronics amp with a flat EQ and a use the built in compressor.
3.
VT1 EQ DI MK2 user here. Without a doubt, the best pre-amp DI I've ever used. Tried BDDI, VTDI etc and this is streets ahead. Used it straight into the front end of an amp but prefer into power amp/effects return and DI to FOH - sound guys really like it after initial curiosity??!! Just for kicks, I dropped in an old Mullard ECC82 and it is the cherry on top. Not a massive gain drop over the ECC83 but just seems to have a bit more clarity and warm punch. I'm thinking of getting a power amp to run this into for gigging, about 1000w @ 4ohms - any recommendations regarding input sensitivity etc?
Sounds awesome! I'm going to have to try it in the effects return. I've also been thinking about getting another valve to try out so I'll look for a Mullard.
4. Nice! How loud does the 44 go? Do you gig with it?

7. Bump. Any trial welcome. The variations of sounds are amazing on this with the active eq.
8. This is like new and new leaves it's hard case. Lovely example
9. Bump for this. Pre Metalman series, this is the proper version which is a lot more expensive and the pickups/eq are amazing!
10. Bump for this "as new" Bass. It's in amazing condition with a hard case that it's always been kept in.
11. Still for sale chaps. This is an amazing amp and in great condition! An excellent example, you won't be disappointed.
12.
I have some live video of Norman giving it some with one, he brought it over when they played in Finland (bit distorted on the vid, but sounded great there ) I do have some cleaner sound sample form the sound check I'll try dig out. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M_y5XmaR3Fs
Yes! Love that! Thanks!
13.
They have a place on the edge of Camberley in Surrey. Although I think they basically are mail order only I turned up on spec one Saturday morning and caught them in. They were very helpful and friendly and agreed to do a setup on a bass I bought on eBay (they set it up very nicely too). I suspect that if you contact them and you could get yourself down to Camberley they'd let you try before buying. I agree with comments above about the logo...
Good to know, thanks very much for the advice!
14. The London shop did but they are now online only by the look of it.
15.
Interesting JP set up - the ad doesn't give any indication what make the P/ups are though - hopefully be able to try one at the LBGS this weekend.
Oooo! If you do, would you mind letting us know your findings please?
16. Hi, Has anyone owned or played the Bass Centre Rhythm Stick Bass? If you have, do you have any sound clips or views on the Bass? http://www.basscentre.com/british-bass-masters/bass-centre-rhythm-stick.html Also does anyone know if it's possible to test a Bass Centre Bass before you buy one? It looks like mail order only.
17. This head sounds AWESOME and it's still for sale.....
