3. Just so happens I'm selling my mark bass big bang.. Its in the amps for sale section.
4. I dont know, it hasn't occurred to me to look where it was made. Do you know karlfer?
5. Selling my as new Markbass head and carry bag. Bought a couple of weeks ago from the always excellent Bass Direct and is in as new condition. Thought it would be a good alternative to lugging my Aguilar Db751 around, but in truth, i prefer the aggie and its worth the heft (but pricey!). Bass amp costs around £550 and he carry bag is worth £79 so £450 seems a very good price to pick this up considering its basically a new amp. Sounds great, all the reviews are spot on, but at this stage I'm still into a valve amp and dont mind the get-in too much. This is an excellent example of a lightweight amp that packs a 500watt punch. Much warmer sounding than previous markbass amps and the eq is ace. The carry bag is an excellent design, lightweight and sturdy, but also both sides unzip so you can use the amp in its carry bag. Genius. http://www.markbass.it/product_detail.php?id=207

9. Hi all, Unfortunately i need to raise some money and this means putting up this excellent bass for sale. Recently valued at £15k, realistically its £13k. In excellent playing condition with a fast neck and beautiful, clear sound. Attibuted to Jacquet by all the shops and luthiers I've shown it too. Heres some photos- http://s1333.photobu...s?sort=3&page=1
10. I'm with Allianz and they were great when I had my first double bass stolen out of my car.
11. I bought a stentor profundo on eBay last week. Presumably that's the one you are talking about. Not quite in as new condition and has gone to the Luther to sort of some reglueing of seams and sorting out the nut and bridge, and a decent set of strings. But otherwise a very good purchase of a good bass at great price. Im gonna use it for a bit then move it on for same price plus the money spent on repair/improvements. It should be around £1000. If anyone wants to call dibs on it I can keep you in the loop. Should be finished with it in about 6weeks. Chris, this could be a good option for you?
12. I'm selling some brand new Garbo's with gut G..
13. As new set for sale. In a moment of weakness (and missing gut strings) i bought this set new for around £220. Put them on my bass, but its just not happening on my instrument. Great set of strings and only been on a bass for less than an hour. Great chance to try out these new strings at less than new price. £170.00
14. Hi Hector. I met Neal a few times in NYC. Had a lesson with him and can't say enough good things about him as a person and player. He has been consistantly excellent each time I've heard him. I'd love to see your transcription if possible? Perhaps email to me at - [email protected]
15. String clearout continues. Bought these to try on my new bass, but i prefer the spirocores. Oh well.. Been on my bass for about 10 days, but otherwise in excellent condition. Sell new for around £150, so this seems a fair price.
16. Perhaps get in touch with Huw Vaughn Williams? He's up north Wales quite a bit and would be a good option.
